Two corrections for Poindextor narrating this video right off the bat. He said it was a 1967 which is a C-2 Corvette. This is a C-3 Macko Shark which has a totally different body style. And the 427:435 was a tri-power, three two barrel and this car has a duel feed Holley 4 Barrel. At this point I could not watch any more because this punk does not know what he is talking about. I don't mean to put him down, but why not find somebody who is qualified to give correct information?

That's a good one, for me I'd put bias looking radials and factory exhaust tips and enjoy.

Appraisal value= insurance coverage $. Doesnt mean the car is worth that much . My 65k appraised car couldnt get 30k in the real world.

8:25: The fiber optics are cool and a great idea. But that era was pretty unreliable. None worked on my 69.

Aside from the fact the car is a gem ... pre-purchase inspection by a qualified inspector is the best money you'll ever spend.

Hate to see that stupid luggage rack on it. Get it taken off and throw some side pipes on it.

The bottom center peak of the front bumper is pushed in quite a bit from impacting something.....about fifty percent of these cars have that problem and it is the first thing I check for when I inspect fit and finish on these cars. i've seen very seriously restored high dollar restored 68's and 69's with no other issues have this one glaring problem.....It is amazing that people can't see this and don't have the bumpers straightened before painting them.

If that’s a real L71 car then the guy that hacked it up was a moron. The original tach redlines at 6500 that was the standard tach for the L71. What a shame. The guy who did this build could have butchered up a regular 69. I wouldn’t want it.

I had one very similar, the only difference was mine had black vinyl removable hard top. I bought it in 1975 at 17 years old, when i worked at a drive- in theater. Paid 3G... I traded in for 1972 Heavy Chevy. Id like to find one while im still kicking!

That's not a 67 to start with. It's a 69 and it's a beauty. Every Vette should have side pipes and not one of those stupid racks on it. She's going to need some work though. Not too happy about the spraying the bottom like that though.

Throw some sidepipes on it and get that damn stupid rack off it.

Had a 68, 427, 4 sp. I think is was original motor. I bought it in 76 for three grand. Saw a lot of fords, in rear view. Plymouth fury with hemi shut me up for a minute.

I had 68, same color.traded for 72 heavy Chevy. Both when I was 18 to 21. 66 now. I still have 427 block sitting in a patch of dog fennel. Those were the days !

Hmmm, on second thought, with all the leaks, non stock changes/upgrades she better drive super. Besides, the wife won’t let it park in the driveway.

Depending on the right price, she could be a nice collection starter. We love the warrior gold color. She may have been used more than 15k miles. Hopefully she drives n rides better than she looks.

a "cut up" and "modified" 69 Corvette is not worth much even if it has a 427 in it. anyone buying this car better keep it forever because finding any other buyer interested in this thing would not be easy. it is a shame what was done to this car.

This is one of the best videos (well, both part 1 and 2) that I have ever seen on C3. The 3 things I missed were comments on the weather strips, the t tops (and potential leaks for them), and the birdcage on the kick panels (I hope I did not missed these and you mentioned them).

Somebody's former race car. Nothing original here at all and no way to know if the engine is correct because we didn't look at the front pad. It sure has a much bigger cam than the original solid flat tappet and the tri power is gone but the Victor Jr. runs better anyway, ask me how I know. Could be an interesting car to own if the price is right but it will be a lot lower than an original L-71 car. And it's NOT a '67 as you described at first, we'll forgive the Freudian slip however.
