You are so great at articulating/communicating complex ideas in an everyday kind of way! And I think you are spot on about how in market pricing those at the lower end of the hierarchy are paid as little as possible. I have noticed a more disturbing trend that operates almost everywhere, whereby 'low-skilled' workers are denied many of their entitlements, including correct pay because the employers get away with it. If and when they are caught, the worst case is a slap on the wrist, if that, and the order to pay what they withheld dishonestly. It seems to work well for the employers and there's no incentive to cease these tactics.

Great lecture

I am so disappointed in the amount of stigma being perpetuated in this video. The language aside, why would you make it a point to make your students fearful of those experiencing a mental illness. What kind of psychologist and mental health professionals are we bringing into the world if we’re setting them up to think “these people are dangerous,” when in fact people who experience mental illness are much more likely to be the victim of violence than the perpetrator.
