I can understand both positions of the argument. On the Turian side of things, it was a misunderstanding compounded by the fleet commander's narrow interpretation of council law and complete disregard for first contact situations. On the human side, it was an unprovoked and poorly defined attempt at interaction. I still assign the majority of blame to the Hierarchy. No matter the justifications for their brashness, a comlete rundown of council law and regulations can't bring back the dead or replace the damage done.

I just want to experience the game for the first time again. I'm probably on my 6th trilogy playthrough. And i just rapid skip every conversations or ignore the ones that not important.

Considering the events that led up to the first game, the cutscene with the Alliance saving the Council makes it even better. The Asari, Turians, and Salarians ALL tried to kneecap Humans at every turn, only for humans to still pull through despite all the hardship we’ve experienced beforehand.
