The coax camera can not be connected to a NVR. It has to be upgraded to IP camera, but you can still use the existing coax cable.

Hi! Thanks for the question. 1. If you mean a regular Ethernet port, it depends on the different switches and usage scenarios. Most of our products (such as SWR608G in this video) support auto-MDIX for the Uplink port, which makes it no different from a regular Ethernet port. If the switch does not support auto-MDIX, then you need to consider whether to choose a crossover cable or a straight through cable according to the different Uplink devices; 2. If "the normal port" means a PoE port, it needs to be used with our PoE Injector. Hi Enrique, thanks for reaching out, based on your question, If the XVR has available IP camera interfaces, you only need to add a PoE Injector on the XVR side. This allows you to load the XVR’s data link and power supply into the Injector and transmit them together to the camera. At the camera side, deploy a Splitter 1224 to separate the data and power, enabling both power supply and network connectivity for the nPoE Camera. If there are no available IP camera interfaces on the XVR, you will need to purchase a Coax Adapter to convert the coaxial interface to an RJ45 interface, then repeat the above steps. If there are multiple cameras and the analog camera input function of the XVR is not highly needed, it is recommended to replace the XVR with a PoE NVR. In this case, you only need to purchase the NVR and Splitters to provide power to the nPoE Cameras and record the video data. yes, it supports T-Mobile LTE network (Actually, all 3 carriers, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile). it is single band WiFi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n，2.4GHz). The serial port is configured to RS485 by default, not RS232. It can hook up multiple RS485 devices if only the baud rate is the same.

The picture quality will remain the same over coaxial cable, as the 4K requires max 10Mbps bandwidth only, while the coaxial transmission bandwidth can be 100Mbps (reduce to 10Mbps after 1000ft). 2. The expected lifespan is much more than 3 years in our real RMA history.

@@linovision Thanks for the reply, good to know there is no loss in picture quality. unfortunately if i have to replace 8 sets of these around every 3 years isnt really viable at £80 per set, £640 in total.

Hi, You can use EOC-Converter (Receiver+Transmitter) with 4K IP camera. The transmission bandwidth can be max 100Mbps in 1000ft, or 10Mbps in3000ft. The required bandwidth for one 4K IP camera is about 8Mbps (H.264 encoding) or 4Mbps(H.265 encoding). So it is definitely no problem to transmit 4K IP camera videoover coaxwithout losing quality. @@linovision hi..thank you very much with your prompt reply.. i will study all the options you have suggested...and btw.. i have a Dahua DH-XVR1B16-I and i can connect poe switch to 1 LAN port...main problem is running additional 1 cat6 cable from dvr to outside of the house. that's why i want use only the existing cat6 cable which is already in use...again many thanks with all your suggestions

Hi Jimmy, here's tip that would help with your concern. In the scenario of using UPS power supply, if the V1 or V2 power input interfaces on the UP Panel (with DIP switches) are connected, only the switch can be powered on. but the battery cannot be charged; if the V3 power input interface on the Down Panel (battery interface side) is connected, the switch can be powered on while charging the battery.
