    Hi. Your your human videos have been ok and unusual. But I do like more when you do a nature videos like this. IQueen Mary Falls is inland from the Gold Coast. Thanks a lot for your comment, the place is really interesting, though tampered by humans, not 100% natural, you can see he big boulders at the bottom of gorge, they all drilled through, - the holes are noticeable, so they are for the explosive charges, thus the beauty was corrected by some controlled explosions. Same in the Burleigh park, some natural columns still have drilled holes, some were blown apart. Anyway our brothers and sisters from past really treasured those places.

      @@wetnature.1772 That is extra cool. I love history about natural area as much as the nature itself. But you didn't say why there was explosives used there in the past. My favourite historical place on the Sunshine coast is at Dularcha national Park at Landsborough, Queensland. It has an old late 1800s train tunnel in the middle of the walk. I think the train line was originally to transport gold from Gympie gold mines. I got an unusual video from the tunnel a few years ago, you can see from my channel. There is also a bat colony in the tunnel. It is very strange. If you visit sunshine coast you should go there.

      @@DefundtheABC Hi, sure, about the safety first, but I always try ti get the better image, so not really think about myself, and in this case even active stability control could not do anything - my camera has a digital gyroscope and moving lens that should keep focus on object despite of any horizontal or vertical movement. The strong winds are common for some parts of South Island, and for out particular area, as it is some sort of wind funnel. A daily strong wind would be a norm, and storm like wind would be common one or two times a year, while 30 km to any direction, the weather would be calm.

    Hi, I was disappointed in your video at first, with privacy invasion. Oh my God, I thought it was a bicycle go pro but it actually seems like a drone video? You will get in trouble for that. It was sort of amazing though, from an artistic perspective.

    • @wetnature.1772
      @wetnature.1772 2 месяца назад

      Thanks for your comment. First of all, I want to clarify that there was no invasion of privacy. It was a public place where many people were filming and taking pictures. As you walk along, you can see people with your eyes, so I see the same with my camera. Additionally, I was using a large handheld camera, so nothing was hidden. I was riding my electric unicycle with the camera on my shoulder, creating a flying effect due to the camera's active motion control and the smooth movement of the unicycle. I typically use this filming technique when shooting stationary cars or machinery, also demonstrations and protests. It results in smooth footage, similar to drone shots but with more control and a large camera lens. Another fly-by video, but with classic cars instead: ruclips.net/video/OE1Kozn3N-8/видео.html One of my filming wheels: ruclips.net/video/0mGIt-Sodro/видео.html

    • @DefundtheABC
      @DefundtheABC 2 месяца назад

      @@wetnature.1772 Sorry I thought your footage was from a drone, and not from a person riding on an electric unicycle with camera on shoulder! Knowing that makes the video extra cool. You seem to have mastered the unicycle.

    • @wetnature.1772
      @wetnature.1772 2 месяца назад

      @@DefundtheABC Not a problem, I was learning how to ride it specially for filming, as this technique allows shake-less smooth filming of stationary and moving objects, without adding unneeded vertical moves during walking, so everything moves or stays as it should be while camera always changing its position. And to ride a unicycle without thinking about riding would take about a year of everyday practice, and then it is like a bicycle riding ability - always with you.

    Some interesting thoughts indeed. I am 100% certain at this stage of my life that well over 90% of what is taught as "History" is rubbish. Speaking of basalt columns are you familiar with the megalithic site Nan Madol in Micronesia? Well worth a look, also the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland.

      I thought about it, but the types and composition of the stone material are different from stone to stone, there you can see some stones are plastered with a thin layer of peeling material, some crumbling, resembling an old cement casting, and also gray. Some stones (the one with a big hole) are brown with distinctive send in the mixture, and some are natural black basalt. Also, a lot of stones are not column-type. There you can see rectangular blocks and square blocks. At the top, underneath of lockout place, the columns are lying horizontally and filled up with some cement, so to make a flat spot, but from underneath, one can see distinctive columns. Thus artificial and natural stones were used to build some structures, more likely a lighthouse, so someone would not miss this spot. The name Gold Coast came from literally gold on the coast. Even now, people still find gold nuggets along the coast. Say some Egyptians or Sumerians used to go there to get some gold, and the place must be visible. Also, most of the material miraculously came from the Mount Warning area about 50km away, Officially lava flow, but why this variety of shapes and materials? Do not forget about some imitations made to mimic those columns. So if we can do imitations, and pave the tracks with remains of old stones, then ancient people could use natural materials to their advantage too. Some Pacific islands still have some structures made out of natural basalt intact. A few thousand years ago, a megatsunami devastated Australia, so possibly this tsunami event ruined the megalithic structure of Burlegh Heards.
