I know this thing is the goat for old cameras but I really wish there was something that could record to SD cards, regardless thank you for this video! When you’re using this thing do you need a tape in the camera as well or can you just record from the vintage camera straight to this when hitting record
No tape required! I’ve never used tapes, just for digital ease.
I knew this thing existed but I forgot what the device was called lol I have a pc with a Compact flash reader built in I also have a SD to CF adapter will my 32GB Micro SD card work?
I have not tested that to know. I have a stockpile of 32gb flash cards now, so that’s what I’ve been using.

CF cards can get pretty expensive. Have you tested any CF to SD card adapters?
They definitely can get expensive. I haven’t tried that. I don’t know that would be the best idea because large size storage is what it struggles to format. It simply can’t identify anything over 32gb.
@@drewscoots1998 Yeah, I mean a 32gb SD card. A 32gb sd card is about $12 AUD and a 32GB CF card is $50 AUD.
