instead of cigarette paper, I use a dollar bill!
I was also in Highschool and I was supposed to sing the original Gershwin Summertime accompanied by a classmate on the piano. This was in Europe and she was originally from China and it turns out she texted me 15 minutes before the concert that she was already on her way to the airport for the holidays. I found a music teacher who improvised the accompaniment because it was too hard for him to sightread and it was totally chaotic but I will never forget that one
One of my most memorable performances was on a band trip in highschool. The day after we played at the festival, we went to a junior high school to play (primarily grade 6 with band students from 7 and 8). We all went into the performance just seeing it as another performance, not as exciting as the festival. The performance became the highlight of the trip for many! The kids were ecstatic for the performance, and when we played a taylor swift medley you could hear the lyrics of the song being sung loudly from the students and teachers, and they were all dancing! It gave the song so much energy, because instead of being an instrumental concert band arrangement, it became something more special and I had to keep myself from grinning too widely so I could still play my bass clarinet while they were singing! After we finished the performance, as the kids were walking past us to leave the gym, and later some we saw in the hallway, we had kids telling us that they were inspired by us. That the performance touched them and made them want to stay in band. I don't think the kids realized that we were joyfully surprised and honestly a little overwhelmed from the reaction of the concert. We had little expectation for the performance and left feeling fulfilled for the day. We had played music and they joined and felt the music singing and dancing along. They told us they were inspired and in turn we felt impact on ourselves as well! It really made me think back to the performance the junior high gave all grade 6 elementary students encouraging us to join band in junior high. I recall being touched by that performance, in awe of the huge sound of the band, the complexity of the music. It had left me feeling conviction to join band, even though I was debating it before the concert. I've always loved music, but bands changed my life. I'm currently studying music and honestly can't imagine doing anything else!
That’s actually a really great way, thanks. I also play the clarinet and I think this will definitely help me with my music 😊
@@MyZanimations_YT awesome I’m glad! 🎶
Hello woodwind buddy, I play and teach oboe. This is a great lesson i wish confidence was talked about more, i can tell you are a great teacher.
Just changed my alto sax reed because I suspected mold 💀 turns out I was right! I’ve never had a reed mold on me before so that’s a first lol
I fell in love with the interpretation and the interpreter 😄
What Facebook?
Clarinet
Your so good ❤❤❤❤
That sounds beautiful ❤ good job!!!
Me!!! ❤
Thank you so much. I play clarinet and tell myself I’m terrible at it all the time and it always makes it so much worse. ❤❤
I totally understand that feeling. You're not alone and you'll get there! 😊
@ ❤️
Thank you so much for doing this, it's amazing! My kid has a lil crisis on his 3rd year of clarinet, thinking it's a useless instrument (even he love its sound) :D Can't wait the morning to show him this!
cute, but too classic approach, where is the swing?
Nice, very nice.
You can play "Meu sabiá" (Raul Silva) or "Flausina" (Pixiguinha)?
(Translate this into English) Onde posso encontrar a partitura desssa música? Eu procurei mas não achei
I just want to learn music history
Sometimes when you the the effort , you still can’t find a career in music because there is no strong demand in the market.
Please any one tell me which university is best in Europe to learn music or get a degree
Thank you this helped alot❤❤❤
I've trained as a musician throughout my life and went to UNI to pursue a diploma/degree as an Orchestral performer. I left midway through my course to pursue software engineering and ended up being in the industry for 12 - 14 years. I made a 180 degree back to music in 2022 and have been freelancing while studying for a teachers via Trinity College London and achieving all my music theory grades and practical in violin, but I am now thinking I made a mistake to go back and pursue this career path again after doing career research and what the earning potential is in my country which is a low income economy and musicians and tutors aren't really paid well here.
I've been looking for this opportunity please I'll love to be in the group
Clarinet 🙏
You can teach elementary with a performance degree? What state is this? Where I’m from you need a degree in music education and a credential

Hi! Im a 13 year old girl who plays violino since i was 6 and started to play eletric guitar last year
Hey female saxophonist 👋
Here
I'M HERE! 13 years old and compose game music 🥰 my mom is a compositor too so she trained me since birth. I play the Cello for 6-7 years and Piano for 8-9 years
Listen, I'm not a girl, but I am in band. And I can say that you should not be drinking iced coffee while playing your instrument. Doesn't matter if it's a synthetic reed. But anyway, you should only drink water while playing your instrument.

Girl is when pink and Stanley cup
THANKS
I LOVE VANDOREN REEDS THERE LITERALLY THE BEST!!!
Real ❤❤❤
MEEEE!!!! Also can you do tips for high notes please 🎶❤
Thanks I really needed that!!❤❤
Yayy I am so glad it helped! 🎉
Clarinet
This is so lovely!!
Thank you!!
Do you have to change the synthetic reed as often as wood reeds? (From just wear and tear)
Nope! Synthetic reeds last a few months and they don’t break as easily as a cane Reed so they last longer 💪🏼
@@julie.vivaldo thanks for the info! :)
Aww James Charles I love you this is Ivy and I would love to get to know you better but I’m too far away from you, but you are so loveing me I don’t know why I just mix the wedding I wish to face. I love you, but I’m ready. I’m going to my berry, blue, red, black and green berries. I love you.

One comment for anyone wanting to pursue a music degree: Music theory is the same everywhere. Therefore, it makes sense to obtain that part of the puzzle wherever it makes the most financial sense- locally, online, self-taught, etc. In the end, it doesn't matter how you came to the knowledge, only that you have it.
Don’t worry as an experienced clarinet teacher as long as it is not starting to get fuzzy ur fine
I love music too
Nice Tartars!
Goddamn! youre so awesome!! 💅🏼
Squidward wishes
isso é incrível
Great job, it sounds great!
