the 911 is the poor man's 928. the 928 won two Bonneville Salt Flats fasted production land car (1986 and 2020). the 928 is the only sports car to win European Car of the Year. the 928 is the biggest bang for the buck in exotic sports/poster cars as well as the entire Porsche classic car line up. Even Magnus Walker is quietly building his 928 collection. the 964 is 40/60 weighth distribution and fish tails - not the 50/50 weight distrubted 928. While a grand tourer, the mid/high torque 928 is a more complete car as the 911 doesn't has less horsepower than the 928 and even today, classic porsche enthusiasts do not value off the line speed even for the 911. and Porsche made a tenth of 928s than they made 911s. No disrepect - just calling balls and strikes. Its now or never for the 928.

If I had all the money in the world for any car...and I mean ANY car (and within that time-frame of '78-'85), that would be the absolute car of my choice... period. What a piece of work....and it's even got a sun-roof...life doesn't get any better than that car.
