I can't understand what kind of land policy does this banana Republic call Gambia had. Family's are a located lands for agricultural purposes, they inturn took this lands selling them which is not owned by them and or even have a title deed for it. Scam upon scam. There are families that scam land from the state, and scammers like Danso also scam these families. Land management or mismanagement in that country is mired in corruption and theft. No one should have the right to claim farm land as their family property, be able to convert its use and start selling it. Land is a NATURAL RESOURCE that has existed for millions of years, well before any human life appeared on earth. How can anyone claim such a resource as theirs? ALL land in that country belongs to the state, and only the state should manage its use. The state can, of course, relinquish ownership of land to individuals, families and communities for different purposes.
