Hola amigo. Paulina incluyó "Breathe" en el bonus track del tercer álbum llamado "Error". En su momento dijo que no la iba a interpretar en vivo porque era una canción muy personal y muy sentida para ella. Cuando The Warning presentó su álbum "Error" en el Teatro Metropolitan de Ciudad de México en el 2022, se escuchó la pista de la canción "Breathe" en el interludio del concierto. Paulina en ese momento se negó a interpretar la canción en vivo. Finalmente, en octubre del 2023, en el concierto del Pepsi Center, creo que Paulina encontró la oportunidad ante 8 mil personas de exorcizar la canción y de alguna manera sacar la pesada carga emocional que llevaba dentro de sí. For the Error album, the studio requested another song. Pau had written Breathe and agreed to have it on the album if she never had to play it live. That was written into the album contract. The recorded version was not done in a studio, but with Pau playing their slightly out of tune home piano. During the album debut concert (Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022 ruclips.net/video/FGzD4PkhARk/видео.html), they played the album track with no one on stage. Gave me the chills.

Voiceplay is just wonderful!

Ashley and Cesar are both from Puerto Rico. They are really good friends. I love this version. The only other version I've heard was Meatloaf many years ago. I didn't know he wasn't the original. Never even heard of Bonnie Tyler until Voiceplay did this video.

I had forgotten that the individual hyenas had names. (I only ever watched the movie a couple of times.) J-None was back for Valhalla Calling. DJ most recently appeared in a Michael Jackson cover. If the Lion King was inspired by Hamlet, they played awfully fast and loose with the plot even by Hollywood standards. I mean, yes, the uncle killed his brother, the prince's father, for the throne; and the prince avenges his father by killing his uncle. But that's something that had actually happened in the real world at least hundreds if not thousands of times before Hamlet was written, and I can't think of any other similarities. Mufassa is alive for the first part of the movie and never appears as a ghost. Scar isn't a competent ruler in Mufassa's place. Simba doesn't hang around the castle pretending to insanity; he believes his uncle, *blames himself* and runs away, and is not trying to investigate his father's murder, much less plotting revenge the whole time. There's no play scene, because it wouldn't make sense, because all the plot elements leading to it aren't there, because Simba isn't even present in the capital. There's no trip to a foreign court under false pretenses, and there's no altered letter. Nala doesn't have a single thing in common with Ophelia _other_ than being the main love interest (Ophelia wasn't even a princess), and the adult lionesses have nothing in common with Gertrude either, and there's no analog for Rosencrantz or Guildenstern or Horatio or Polonius or Laertes or Yorick or any of the other characters that I can think of. Nobody contemplates suicide, nobody is poisoned, and the entire cast doesn't die at the end (although, I wouldn't really expect that to happen even if the movie had been inspired by Hamlet, because Disney, like most American movie studios, is fairly averse to tragic endings), and the hyenas would NOT be a valid substitute for Fortinbras in any case. In short, I just don't see it.

I think probably you were thinking of DeeJay Young who also has a really high tenor. Most recently he was in their cover of Michael Jackson’s The Way You Make Me Feel, but he has been in several. J was in Valhalla Calling. J also can go quite high but not as high as Mykal and DeeJay can. I always love their theatrical pieces because we get to see just what good actors they are as well. In addition we usually get a little more involved set and costume design which is always fun. They really are all around performers !

I still have some stuffed animals I got in the 1960ies. And I have moved a lot. Recommend to havevthe captions on a VoicePlay/Geoff video. The guys, like here, like to put som jokes in the captions. We will hear more from Mykal in another video, already recorded, but not released yet. He as a high tenor couldn't take much of Geoffs lines here. Mykal was an original member of VoicePlay back in their high school days, but left for Broadway.

Cesar is Ed. I forget the third one. J. None did Valhalla Calling. Mykal has only ever appeared in Just Sing, but he is an og founding member of VP from when they were a barbershop quartet in high school (under the name 4theLove). He was the youngest, but he went straight to Broadway from high school.

Great comments! I think you see it for exactly what it is, in my opinion. The general consensus is extremely positive! Most people are really excited and happy. From what I have read, almost all the negativity comes from Chester fans and not Linkin Park fans. Obviously there have been many famous rock bands that have introduced new lead singers and there always seems to be a core of fans that just won’t accept the new change. I’m hoping that all of the hate and negativity will mostly blow over and we can all just enjoy the new direction of Linkin Park! 👍

I don’t know why this is just now coming up on my feed but you might check out their recent cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart with featured artist Ashley Diane. Ashley and Cesar are both originally from Puerto Rico and part of the song is sung in Spanish as it was apparently very popular there as a duet. It’s interesting to hear how different his voice sounds when he’s singing in Spanish. I really enjoy your reaction and commentary. I’m not of the right age to be a huge king of pop fan. Although I recognize that he was a genius it’s just not the music I ended up listening to all the time.. I really like the arrangement in that it’s paying tribute to the original but they’ve changed it enough so that it has a slightly different sound. To me that is the hallmark of a good cover. I want to thank you for putting in captions. I’m going to listen to a few more times and see if I can pick out more than two or three words in Spanish😂 but I really appreciate that you bother putting the captions on. I do watch reactions for people who don’t do that but I get a lot more out of it when you take that extra effort so thank you.

Buena reacción, quiero añadir a lo que dijiste en el minuto 07:00 en donde te referías a que no importa si tienes dinero cuando se tiene talento... yo añado a eso, que "el Talento no se puede comprar, puedes ser muy adinerado y no por ello te hará talentoso." Y es falso lo que dicen de ellas, recibieron muchos aportes y recursos de donaciones y aportes de sus fans mediante Patreon y otros mecanismos que las supieron invertir para llegar donde están, si bien los padres no eran pobres ha sido una banda traída de a poco con constancia, dedicación y mucha humildad.
