An píosa is deise ceoil a chuala mé le fada an lá. Cén t-ainm atá ar an ríl deiridh sin a chas tú?
Stellar!
mighty style !
Really lovely.
Wow, beautiful tunes and playing. 3:40
Great tunes! Great playing! And what beautiful stone work!
That grey box sounds great, Ray - but what about that little thing on the shelf in the background?;) Hope you're keeping well!
Thanks Lars, I used a different lens for that clip. The depth of field actually went back as far as the 1930s!
@@rayodiomasaigh Hah!
class playing
Mighty playing there
Some pretty jigs.
Great playing and tunes man!🤌🏻
Thanks Conor. Hard to beat them Dwyer lads for the tunes!
Fantastic box player
Really nice playing. Loved listening to this.
Ah sure, that’s just fantastic stuff! Especially the last one, never heard it before. Going on The List (of tunes to learn).
Do you have any other name for the last one?
Hi Frank, Unfortunately no name for that one yet.
Pipers Dispair
Sorry Pipers Dispair is the second tune 🙄🙄
That is a Finbarr Dwyer composition titled "The Laughing Reel".
Absolutely love this set, as well as your style, rock steady timing, and your interesting use of the basses. I'd never heard that last tune before, but it has got to be among the cheeriest melodies ever. Gotta try to learn it in A on my B/C box. Thank you so much for sharing this, Ray!
Great playing lovely basses ..
Wonderful stuff altogether, time to learn these jigs straight away!
Wonderful playing, great selection of tunes and love the left hand
Well executed Ray🎶🙌
First Class Music, Playing and Tunes 👌💯🎶👏
Great tunes and equally great playing 🤩🤩
Love this...and your unpredictable left hand bass notes really make these tunes so ear-catching, too.
Well played!
Fabulous---masterful playing
So cool love the tunes listen from newfoundland Canada
Excellent
Very sweet playing on a great grey boxing
A lovely set. I imagine your accordion is in b/c. I have been thinking about a b/c for myself, but fearful of taking out my brain and rewiring my Irish tunes for new fingering patterns. About 140 of them. Well it will give me something to do for the next 40 years and I am 70 now.
Thanks Besh. It is a C#/D box I'm playing here. Go for the B/C. You will have great fun!
That was nice. Especially the last tune
Un jeu est parfait ! J'aimerai tellement avoir ce don ...🙄
Merci pour cette vidéo très agréable !
Wonderful playing of difficult tunes on a superb box.
Looks like the exact same box that Tony Mac Mahon played....Beautiful tone off it...
_Lovely playing...Go hiontach ar fad_
Wow! Niceee!
Yes, what Besh said! Fresh sounding tunes, and lovely use of the basses in an delightfully unpredicable way.
Who is that I
Fantastic tunes, beautifully played with wonderful groove and lift...never heard them before! Thank you!
Tuff stuff to play.
Powerful
Clear and precise in execution and lovely in a way that only jigs can be. Meaning: play forever, and we will listen forever
Top class. Great tunes well played.
Very nice indeed. I especially love the tempo with which he plays these tunes. The first tune, The Four Mile Stone (in English), is so often played way too fast. Doing so just irons the tune out. Ray plays the tune at a speed which allows him to focus on the luscious melody and the clean quick ornaments at a comprehensible pace. Yet the tune doesn't drag. The rest of the set is nicely matched, and rendered in the same tasty fashion. Bravo!
Thanks for the very kind comments Al
😊👍😊❤
Good man Ray!
Very nice the third one!!
Been squeezing this thing for 40 years... might figure it out someday soon and sound this good.
Thanks for the kind words Besh.
Íontach Ray... An ceol ar fad 😊
Míle buíochas Flor!
Mighty stuff Ray, hope you and Grainne are well!
All well Luke, thanks!
awesome nfld canada
Thanks!
