would like to see more of this!
San pwidi maka bili ng antifouling paint
Nice color 😊
New boat owner here and completely terrified of my transom turning into this. What are the top preventive measures to avoid this? Great work on your channel by the way. 🍻
Love this stuff, would like to see a series of these builds. Your channel would Really Grow!!$$$$
I can hear your far distance camera focus failing lol.
73⁰ in mid February, and wearing long pants and sweaters 🤯 Florida just does not compute to this Canadian. Last February it got so cold in my city that every parts store sold out of car batteries. It took me 3 hours to get mine and my wife's cars going between heading outside with a booster pack, making a few start attempts until I was starting to risk serious frostbite, then running back into the house to warn up. But today with a calm breeze, 65⁰ and beautiful fall colors, I think today I might be better off in the northern prairies than in Florida! Hope y'all make it through the next week alright!
So cool. That’s a very cool boat!! Can’t wait to see the end result
I'd call that, water views more than waterfront property!!! 😜
My new fav channel. Love a classic Hatteras. You’re doing a really nice job. How’s the bridge so far, any rigging for engines and steering yet?
That’s my dream boat.
Another year or so and we may be having a conversation. You need a portable A!C unit. I have one if you want to borrow it
Instead of using expensive pour foam for cooking the floors how about the green foam from lowes? Then pour foam around the outside if you need to lock it in place
Yes this would work too. There’s a few different foams you could use but we just got the 5gal kit and between the scraps, it was enough for the full job
Goodness
a question why use wood instead of others material like coosa or any foam sheet very nice boat 👍
It’s interior so will never see moisture. Wood is dense and cheaper then coosa
Florida?
Using a forklift to forklift a forklift
bad day.....
Awesome gift 🎉
Where are the household doors in this build? stringers?
Window trim for the Hatteras?
So you're the idiot who tried to make a dude's stringers out of household doors? LOL scary
Looks like glass to divynicell.... I don't know how the lip is secured to the gunnels- but wouldn't a layer of 1708 be stronger than csm?
What material did you use for the core?
Cheer~~~designed to prevent sliding or skidding.😅
Now I'm satisfied after subscribed your channel guys. Been waiting for this ❤
Just found this and subbed! I'm restoring a 1968 Hatteras 34. Sank in the Chesapeake so I took it down to the stringers like you did. I'm actually taking the 3 windows out of the front of the salon and glsssing over them. No leaks and less heat from the sun. So why did you go with acrylic instead of tempered glass? I get it's cheaper, but I'd be scared to scratches and crazing from uv exposure. Looking forward to watching the progress
Right on! I’d love to get a 34 some day as well. Truly a mini version of the 50, they look almost identical minus the size lol The acrylic is actually a lot more expensive than glass but simply put, the shape is very slightly irregular (as these were hand made frames not molded. I feared complications with a glass manufacturer and u can’t diy glass so acrylic became the only option. We covered the panes with yacht armor on the exterior so this should prevent crazing and any other issues with the material
Awesome project, awesome boat!
LOVE MODEL BOATS & RC BOATS/YACHTS
This must have just set in the water 4-ever, I've seen some bad ones but this tops them All
Doesn't Get Better Than This!
Leave it the way it is
That black and white Formula is gold to someone. Definitely finish that boat for a lucky person !
It’s a 25 contender. Featured in my first video
"Lowes" for a selfie stick📸🤣
I say put glass (acrylic) in the front you won't want to try it later if you change your mind. Beautiful work.👍
Don't cut the windows yet
The whaler 🔥
Painting and glassing has been tough in this humidity
Nice access on those hatches, game changer!
Nice
Mirka is the best. Deros II especially.
Wow, this is a great project. Your beautiful windows make the boat and paint pop.
Looks great! I also vote to keep the front sections glassed as is.
Most of my friends say the same thing
cool project....will you be able to bring those engines back to life?
We will see!
Please change the engines, you will appreciate it.
Another 300k I don’t really have. Maybe this page will blow up and I can afford it 😂
Marinize some old truck engines? There are always some M11's getting scrapped. It would certainly take some time and patience but would make a great series of videos. Understand that marine parts and transmissions would be expensive.
@@piersa3888 idk I’m not very mechanically inclined at all. Doing something like that would be WAY over my head
Those 12v71's are bad ass engines. Nothing wrong with the old 2 strokes. Yeah modern engines are nice- but friggin expensive!
Windows look sleek!
Gorgeous!
Keep on, Keepin on! What a difference with the acrylic windows! If you do decide to remove the forward-facing solid structures and replace them with acrylic, try to make the openings as close to identical! It will be noticeable if they are different sizes! If the framing is close, go with the window sizing. The blacked-out acrylic will show minor variations!
Awesome man!
Man nice job bringing that old Hatt back to life.
Thank you!
