This is one reason why she is not making it as big as she could be out there. She sounds like beyonce and therefore you will be compared to beyonce. Jessica needs to create her own identity rather than trying to recreate someone else’s.
Jimmy Martinez She could not help it if she sounds like Beyoncé. It's her voice, she can't really change it. And I don't think she's trying to be Beyoncé, have you seen all her American Idol performance??

She's not trying to be her plus I think Jessica's tone is similar to Beyonce but not quite there. She has a very powerful voice and so does Beyonce, but they are different.
She doesn't sound that much like Beyonce. She hasn't blown up because when she had the most interest (right after Idol), she made music that wasn't that good. Especially for her voice. Also she's gotten very little promotion.
