E92 M3 GETS ALCANTARA HEADLINER
A not-so DIY video of me installing an Alcantara(micro-suede) headliner in my E92 M3. The project took me about 2 days of in-consecutive labor. I had a shop carryout the laying of the fabric which in hindsight, I regret just not doing it myself as I could've saved some money and A LOT of time. Overall, it came out great and made the car feel so much nicer as it was suffering the well known BMW headliner sag issue. I'll include the link for the headliner below!

1. Will the old rear diff fluid come out well although the car isn’t warmed up? 2. Is it possible to do rear diff fluid change without lifting/jacking up the car?

How did you get the isr single on the awd
So that’s actually the GReddy single which is also only for RWD cars. What I ended up doing is getting a Megan Y-pipe made for AWD models and modifying it so that it would be the correct length to line up with the Greddy. I’m sure the same thing can be done to make ISR work

On the front diff. Just use your ratchet.. a lot easier than the way you just did it bro no extensions needed. And the Mobil 1 75w/90 has limited slip additive in it

Yo brother, so the rear and front differential both take the same fluid? This mechanic at a shop says that they’re different

yup same. just make sure it has limited slip additive if your car needs it

Hey man so I just ordered some 75w90 for my front/rear diffs What fluid should I use for my transfer case and transmission ? Theyvboth take the same types of fluid right? Matic S is what I've read online
Yes Matic S is what the trans and transfer case need. It’s a pink fluid
@@TycoTakesCars awesome thanks for the quick reply, i been neglecting my differentials and I just started hearing some grinding last night so hopefully they're still good n changing the fluid helps, might as well do the t case and trans while I'm down there 👍
No it's matic j for the transfer case.
@@gmoney-fq6ey matic J was replaced by MATIC S. Nissan or Infiniti will not give you MATIC J is if you request it. They’ll give you S.
I just bought some AMSOIL 75w90 today from a local off-road 4x4 shop. Planning on swapping out my 120k nasty black (probably) fluid on my '10 G37x diffs. The back of the bottle says it's good for/or up to GL-5 🤷 it doesn't specify Infiniti on the back of the bottle but it does mention Nissan...
Have u notice any difference in performance since u change the def oil??

I used 75w90 and thats what all of the research I did prior to said to use.
How much fluid does the front and rear diff contain? I have the same car and would like to know
took about 3 quarts each if I remember correctly
