Y'all are unbelievably lazy. If someone wants your info they aren't going to go through Sony. Sony doesn't even require much for an account, you can use a temporary, entirely throwaway email. Also they were very clear that you would need to do this eventually. Were you planning on just playing for a few months and leaving anyway? Goofy.

It’s been a requirement on the steam page since like day 1.. and I doubt the devs are forcing this. It sounds like a typical producer forcing something on a developer team. This only hurts the devs. Doesn’t do jack against Sony. But do what you want I guess. I’ll keep diving and having fun.

Far from over, but people who cannot create PSN account due to regional restrictions, its stupid cuz those folks won't be able to do so even if they want to. Reason why Sony's doing this, they need to boost account numbers to please shareholders pretty much, at Helldivers experience.

My country has a regional restriction. I made an account yesterday. How? The same way every playstation owner here has made one since the ps3. By just picking a different region. Not saying it's not annoying, but it's way overblown.
