79 Hurst Olds Cutless W30, Heavy Left Front Damage, Runs and Drives. Hear Engine Run at the End.
Does it run?
it says it doesn’t
No rust. Gotta be worth 30k
thats a nice car 😎😎
If it was salt water, it needs a complete body off, interior out restoration.
😂 Yeah and what use it like yard knome 🤔🤣
No matter...that one would be a simple fix.
Edelbrock intake, like a 2 plane high rise
I would love to have this one!
I wonder why the insurance company didn't fix this car ???
I don’t either
park it in a river for a day and then bake it dry
Insurance scam car right there.
Perfect for LS 6.2
Yes, it appeas to be a real Super Duty with the VIN for the win: 2 for Pontiac, V for Trans Am, 87 for two door coupe, X for 455 CID V8 with four barrel, RPO code "LS2", Super Duty, 4 for 1974 model year, N for Norwood, OH assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Norwood OH plant closed in 1987.
Thanks
It’s a fake you would never have a vinyl top on that car
Not correct. Although rare you could get a vinyl top.
LS2 Super Duty 455 and C08 Cordova Top factory option.
Restromod
Retro mod
Have a picture of one in the same color combination from 1974 in the showroom....with a vinyl top
Looks like orig. 283" V8. (Missing 2 chrome strips on trunk lid - for '58 only.) Looks like a restorable gem...
Thank for the information
I still wouldn't not pay 50,000 for it!
How in the WORLD does a car like this end up @ COPART !.... there must have been some serious retarded individuals involved in this !
I would like to buy this car I'm from Arizona
The ECU and PCM will need to be Re- Flashed also need to update the Body Control Module as well.
🤨 ON A 1958?! Was this sarcasm?
@@toesuf94 Due to having none of that Electronic Garbage that will make most of these cars Cost Prohibitive to Repair. This 283 Powered Vette will be spared the fate of these other Flood Cars.
🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😃😂🤣😂😃
How can you tell the frame's shape or the shape of any steel part under it by looking around it? It would be a journey to get it into the correct shape.
What electronics It’s 1958
lol
Electronics should be ok.
@@philiptaylor174 I think so too, I wouldn’t be afraid of it.
Six cylinder vin
Copart...it will bring more than its worth..
Wouldn’t phase me, no computer or crazy electronics.
You have to get started saving this Camaro today if it was in sea water! 😕 😉 😕
I would get it for the right price. You can basically rebuild the entire thing plenty of parts available. The wiring harness can be replaced and the engine can be flushed out and see what kind of damage is done. For a good price I would do it.✊💎Thanks
Electrically, it will need a new fuse box at the very least. The engine/trans will be destroyed due to rust and water contamination. But it's saveable
can't tell if it has Power Steering? Get your eyes checked or stop posting with no knowledge.
Ole boy obviously doesn’t know gen 1 Camaros
Being a non specialty car it is at most worth 15k not 20k, especially if it was in a flood. Flood damage will lower the value even more.
When is the auction?
No date set
They have the value marked up that much you are going to need to bring closer to 30k to get it, honestly it ain't worth more than 12k being flood damaged and then you should also keep in mind that if you manage to buy it you will receive an auction sales receipt for a totaled car. Totaled cars do not good clear titles when retitled, you get a salvage title which will lower the value of the car even more.
Nice LS candidate!
Where can I see at at? Can you send me the information where I can talk to somebody?
It’s on the Copart site, just search the lot number or 1969 Camaro
Pull out the small block throw a 454 in and have some fun
I can't figure out why the owners would part with it,even with the damage. There is nothing that can't be fixed.
I don’t know either, hard to replace these cars.
@jimmysrebuilders6651 Hopefully, someone like me or you will get that bad boy and rebuild it. It sure is a great looking car in pretty nice shape, from what I can tell.
Is this guy stipid oh my
Very very savable !!!
nice video
Thank you!
6 cyl car
Yes, the "3" in the third spot of the VIN says it had a 6 cyl originally. V8's had a "4". From the obvious lack of any additional accessories, like power brakes or power steering, it was a base model car. Still in reasonable condition, until the flood, tho.
It depends on whether it was in salt water or fresh, if salt, that thing is done
@tim, Not necessarily!!
@@Jay-ju9jw Yup
@@Jay-ju9jwsir rethink your comment….salt water ruins a car 10 times faster than fresh….and you have to rinse and scrub every inch of the metal to remove the salt before you repaint. THINK SIR
Its got the short pump fuely heads , 69 had long pump , heads had accesory bolt holes , but ill take that car
Like others said it was a 6 banger no AC car.
Who cares , put whatever you want in it
They stopped using the 327 in January of 69 and switched to the 307
The 307 came out in 1968 replacing the famous 283
With that VIN shows it was originally a 6 cylinder
Thanks for the update
That car was in a light flood, great one to save.
I think it can be saved
When will it be auctioned?
No date set
Take it completely apart, plan on 2 years putting it back together, it'll be a great car.
348 or 409. Only difference is the bore.
I'd change the wheels those things suck
I'd like to have it either way
