I don't remember exactly where I bought the new one. It came from someone who did not need it. I remember that the original part would have cost about €1000 at BMW service, but this was significantly cheaper even though it was an original part.

In my case, I didn't know and in fact, there was nothing wrong with the shifter. I changed it because the transmission mechanic recommended I change it. In general, if have symptoms with the gearbox then you might want to try and replace the shifter. In my case, symptoms were fixed with a software update done by BMW.

Hi, no I haven't use it with acoustic guitar so I can't comment on that. What I can say is that generally speaking this amplifier has been good purchase for a beginner like me. It has plenty of different sounds that you can try out and play around with. It's also loud enough if you are only playing alone at home. For the price it was a good purchase I think.

Your oil filter o rings are hard and your oil filter is plugged probably I had both those problems

Remove that black collar and pry silver trim carefully off. Install is the same process reversed.

Pull the black collar down and carefully pry the plastics open.

@@PJKuonaYeah i tried that, all plastics are getting removed but not that stupid button like it's glued or something

@@rampantking777 If I remember correctly that button is part of the stick and probably won't come off without breaking something. If you wanna paint it, just remove whole shifter and cover the parts you don't want to get painted.

It's been a while since I made this change, but as far as I can remember just pull the collar down and then pry the trim off carefully.

Probably not. It's been awhile since I did this so I don't remember exactly. There is a collar that you need to pull down, if I remember correctly and pry the silver part off. But like I said, it's been awhile and I don't remember how it exactly was.

I didn't have any errors. I changed it because gearbox repair man recommended to do it before updating transmission software. In this case I think that changing the stick was vain. But I got some experience of changing it and this video to share 😀

As far as I know, this is just a electric stick. It does not have anything inside that would require reprogramming. I did not reprogram anything and selector has been working ok ever since. I replaced old one with completely new unit. Overall this was not too difficult task to do. My advice is to use common sense and be careful not to break anything since almost all the clips are plastic and they can potentially break easily.

@@PJKuona im going to be doing this to my bmw 535i 2008. I have an issue where the car will shift into drive and reverse but it wil not shift back into park. It inky shifts into park once i turn the car off.
