Finding this song felt like bumping into an old love....I first encountered Waigwa through his poem like the sea and its waters. Then an old love sang this song and I kept hoping I could hear it again. The nostalgia is real.
i have fond memories of Waigwa Wachira visiting my school in Eldoret with the Main Campus Travelling Theater in the late 70`s and there he sang the song, "You fill up my senses". I thank you for the uploads. Where is Waigwa Wachira these days? He was truly a free-minded soul and a pioneer in post colonial kenya. Asante sana
Since1998 i have been seaching for it. I even laid down ksh1000 to any body who find it and send it to me.Thanks alot Mr wachira God bless you. Now am ready to marry my 16 years fiance...i could never wed without this song. Am happy.
This is just awesome. Compares with the best ballards like Percy Sledge , Ottis Redding or all the other greats. Can you post any other song by Waigwa Wachira e.g Lord my child is ill. Thanks a lot for uploading this all time favorite. Much love from Atlanta, Georgia USA.
My oh my!! I have tried to look for this album from Classic 105 but with no success. How can I download this in my flash! Please help! I badly need a copy. It brings back alot of sweet memories.
This is one of the songs I've been looking for. Thanks to Waithaka Wamuyu for posting it.It reminds me of KBC's sundowner show with Catherine Ndonye & my other 'SD' family.Am grateful too to our own Waigwa Wachira for composing it....Everybody sing amen,Aimeeeeeeeeeeeeeni!!,aimeeeeeeeeni!!!! wow!..Thankyou Lord in every way aiiimen!!!
This is great. I too have searched for this for some time. Anyone out there with LORD MY CHILD IS SICK (or ILL). It should have been the flip side of the vinyl disc with the MARRY ME. To Waigwa, you taught me at the UON and it would be great to have one re-union of all those you taught Theatre Arts.
