Just some random guy making some random stuff.
What's up with the name?
Well, A is my initial, and polygons2 is from my PlayStation username, which is my first name, which is Arshia (you can call me Ash) + polygons2. How did I get that?
At the time I was a dumb kid who wasn't good at English at all, so my uncle was the one who picked the polygons part for me. He is a game designer, and the way he described "polygon" was as a game design term. Which wasn't really a lie, but it is kind of a dumb username.
It's like calling someone Jimmy pixel.
Despite that, now it feels just right. Like it would be wrong for me to pick any other username.
After he finished making the account, we realized that putting my actual age in was a mistake, since the account went on parent lock because of it. So we had to make it again, which is how polygons2 was born.
It's not a very interesting story, but I couldn't think anything better to put here, so it is what it is.

Why do I not see the plot hole?.the only plot hole I see is Ruka changing the gender 😂
It was an interesting video for sure, but I don't see the plot hole. Through my eyes, it makes sense. Let me explain my pov. Suzuha goes back in time, and appears at the radio building the day of the conference. But it wasn't until a week later that her and Okabe go back in time to save Kurisu. At that point in time, she had already traveled to other time periods, and established the posts that led to books on theories for time traveling under the name of John Titor. But it had been years since then, and it changed things that didn't leave a big impact on the time line, not enough to change any of the fixed event that would happen in between. Events pulled in by the attractor field. With me so far? When Suzuha and Okabe went back, they went to the day of the presentation. And by saving Kurisu, the timeline split at an earlier point than previously done so in Okabe's time traveling expeditions. They could not stay in that period of time because there would be two Okabe, so they went back to the time machine before it was too late. The time machine disappeared the moment the phenomenon occured, most likely when the first D-mail was sent. In this new timeline, suzuha had no reason to go back in time to that time period. THAT is why she disappeared. Okabe returned to his actual time period, but in the new timeline. This is because of his ability to "observe" the timeline as it is mentioned later in the movie. Now, just because Suzuha disappeared, doesn't mean she didn't go back in time at all. We see that a time machine was built regardless of the original series and 0 because Kurisu wanted to save Okabe from his disappearance. In a timeline in which a time machine was built anyways, why would events that occured using a time machine be erased? Specially taking into consideration the attractor field? Now, looking at the timeline later on, to the events of the movie, we get another event that is similar. Okabe is in trouble and will disappears. This makes Kurisu build a time machine that is taken by Suzuha to the past to prevent it from happening. However, because she's not from that time period, nor does she really know Okabe, it can't be her to save him. It had to be Kurisu because it was her knowledge that led to remember Okabe, as well as the reason for the time machine. In that timeline, Okabe was supposed to disappear. The moment Kurisu saved him, they moved very slightly to a timeline running parallel to the one they were just at. Because of their experience with time travel, Okabe and Kurisu must have created another time machine. Either they realize that a time machine must be created to stay on that same timeline were no one has to die, and/or to send future Suzuha back in time to make sure everything is going according to plan to lead them to the true Steins Gate. Again, leading to the creation of a time machine, and event caused with their time machine to stay fixed in the past events. While there is no proof for that last bit, it is what makes it make sense in my mind.
The way I see it is that steins;gate story was the way the universe found to mend itself after the creation of time machine in the omega world line which was the original one. After the first timeleap which send adult Okabe from omega world line back to year 2000 in beta world line, the universe went to a higher energy state because of all the possible world lines, although only one world line exist at a time, the infinite possibilities are still there because time machines exist in all those world lines. Something we observe in nature is that all things tend to go to a lower state of energy because of stability, so an universe with a single world line is more stable than an universe with an infinite amount of world lines, that is what steins gate world line is, the one single world line where time machine was never created and it does not exist in the future. In chemistry in order for a lower state of energy be reached, is necessary an activation energy, that is what the story of okabe 0 served for okabe 1. In the end after Okabe deceived the universe, Okabe 1 escaped in time machine before Okabe 2 could send the d-mail, so Okabe 2 could never do its 3 week journey of despair as Okabe 1 despite what Okabe 1 said as he watched Okabe 2 seeing Kurisu "dead". As Okabe 1 time travelled to the future, the universe was rewritten with no time machine existing in past and in the future, all world lines collapsed into a single one known as steins gate world line and Okabe 1 merged with Okabe 2 via reading steiner, this did not happen with Okabe 0 because he travelled back in time before the d-mail with video was sent to the past, thus reading steiner could never kick in. What about the wound? The VN never explained it in details, but I believe the stab wound had another cause not mentioned in this world line.
I think that the Kurisu Okabe 1 saw since his first time was the one whose death was faked, because he says after throwing out his blood on her: "For sure this is the Kurisu I saw that day". With that, the anime was pretending that since the begining there already was an Okabe that would achieve Steins Gate. I don't think the screams we hear ep 1 are from Okabe 0, but from Okabe 1 putting his hand in his injury. In fact there is the Okabe 0 that killed her and stopped trying, and he actually saw Kirisu dead in the radio building floor, but our Okabe didn't.
I thought about this as i just recently finished rewatching the anime. A few issues I had with this. 1st of all, when he went back the second time, why wasn't Okabe No. 1 and No. 2 there? There should have been 3 of them there. My conclusion is that everytime they go back to the past, they create a new timeline (it's not just with d-mails). And, the second time they travel back in time, they travelled back a few seconds earlier, which means that in this new timeline, Okabe would not have needed to go back in time. And to answer your plot hole, i was reading other people's thoughts as well and have came to a conclusion. When they were back in the past, they were in a quantum undertermined state. Changes will only take place after travelling back to the future. And since time travelling jumps between timelines, they end up in a new timeline where Suzuha never needed to tavel back to the past. And as long as Okabe thinks Makise is dead, he will inevitably create a time machine in a future, causing ww3. So the Steins; gate world line will only be achieved once Okabe returns to the future, since he knows Makise is alive, he would never think of building a time machine, and thus ww3 never happens. Also, the world will never allow a paradox to happen. Since Okabe was already stabbed, they must have jumped to a timeline where he was stabbed by something else.
When Okabe 1 travels forward in time 3 weeks to the Steins Gate world line, he changes divergence and the world line slightly, overwriting the Okabe 2 that existed in the first version of the Steins Gate world line, and in the end, the final Steins Gate world line reached is the one in which Okabe 1 exists. Or perhaps you could say that the Okabe 2 never exists in the Steins Gate worldlines because he would be undergoing the journey to get to that point in time, and Okabe 1 is the version that actually reaches the end of that 3 week time period in that world line at the end of the loop which is why he is the only one to exist in the final world line. By time traveling forward 3 weeks, he basically just skips that whole journey that Okabe 2 would have and arrives at the end point. Maybe some of this makes sense...
Okabe, takemichi heck even satoru all had their happy endings now all i wish to see in life is my man Subaru getting a happy ending
Maybe In Steins;Gate reboot they will explain everything. It could be a sequel because it comes out in 2025 when Okabe is supposed to die

Okabe 0 is Okabe 1. All 0 did was show a alternate ending to the original Okabe storyline. In order for the events of original SG to take place, they're saying that 0 Okabe had done all the 1 Okabe things but then took a different route. When Mayurri goes back to change her choice that then diverges 0 and 1 Okabe into the same. But at the same time Okabe 2 IS Okabe 1+0. There's really only the one Okabe the whole time. At least that's my perspective. The Okabe in 0 who rescues Suzuha and Mayurri is also that 0+1 Okabe. Timey Wimey things 😂
SG:0 I found confusing but only cause of the shifting world lines from the Russians. This video made me more confused about things I thought made sense haha
I think I can explain this plot hole by writing the future and past in the stein’s gate world line Okabe said the future is unknown but there are things that set in stone and that is the creation of the time machine meaning Suzuha definitely would have a reason to go back in time (Maybe a totally different reason than war or SERN) which would then causes Stein’s gate Okabe to protect Kurisu. Remember every time reading steiner happens Okabe doesn’t remember ANY history of that world at all meaning anything is possible. So in the stein’s gate world line the alpha, beta and zero event didn’t or doesn’t or will not happen Okabe just happens to remember all of those events. What Can actually happened is Okabe with reading Steiner remembers Kurisu death so when he meet Kurisu again they probably start researching the Time Machine and eventually when Suzuha is born and the Time Machine is invented Okabe send Suzuha back himself it make sense to me.
Underrated channel, why haven't I seen this before lol I mean it makes sense to me, he had no guard because of delaware smash and ate that punch in the jaw at nerf almights 100%. And this is also explained later near the end of the series where people near death gets power a power up because of something (I forgor what it's called) also this is not a shounen thing because it's from quirks itself, and it is one for all after all. just my opinion lel :3
@@Chaos_BTQ Honestly, while I think it's the biggest stretch win for decu outside of the movies, I don't really mind it THAT much. What u think about the difference in Mayuri's actions (23A and 23B) that does not make logical sense, as both timelines leading up to that moment are identical (except for the phone call at first ep). There is no plausible reason for her to act in two completely different ways under the same circumstances, which ultimately creates a plot hole in the story too
If there is happy ending in the end then why u fix soo sad music in background 😅🤘🏻
In maths, there is actually 4 timelines, zero, alpha, beta and steins gate world line, at the end he didnt go back to alpha or took place of beta he simply reached (time travel physically using the machine) to a different timeline. Steins gate world line is created (spawned) as a possibility after Okabe managed to trick Okabe from beta timeline. If you are wondering where the Okabe from steins gate world line is, it can be explained by "Okabe from steins gate worldine never existed" or "he became the steins gate worldline Okabe" because he "returned" back to steins gate world line and two Okabe of the same "time/age/same point in time/whatever you want to call it". Essentially managed to physically take place of the steins gate world line as the timeline fixes/rewrites itself while retaining the injury. The point of the message from Okabe 0 is to let Okabe 1 (or Alpha) create the possibility (spawn the timeline) so he can travel there.
beautiful
Based on the official material from the Steins;Gate anime, visual novel, and supplementary content, the correct interpretation is as follows: Official Explanation: Physical Time Travel and Worldline Convergence: When Okabe and Suzuha use the time machine to travel back to 2010 to save Kurisu without altering the worldline significantly, they physically move through time. This means Okabe's physical body, along with any injuries he sustains, continues to exist when he returns to the future. No Overwriting of Consciousness: Upon returning to the Steins Gate worldline, Okabe does not overwrite another version of himself. Instead, he becomes the sole Okabe in that worldline. There isn't an "Okabe 2" whose consciousness gets replaced or merged. The worldline has shifted to Steins Gate, and Okabe exists in it as himself. Retention of Physical Injuries: The stab wound Okabe receives while staging Kurisu's death is a physical injury that he carries back to the future. This is because physical time travel in the Steins;Gate universe involves moving one's actual body through time, so any physical changes or injuries remain with the traveler. Reading Steiner's Role: Reading Steiner is Okabe's unique ability to retain his memories when worldlines shift. However, in this context, it doesn't involve transferring consciousness between bodies or overwriting another Okabe. It simply allows him to remember the previous worldlines' events, which is crucial for achieving the Steins Gate. Worldline Mechanics: In the Steins Gate worldline, certain events are altered to prevent the dystopian future (like Kurisu's death and World War III), but this doesn't create duplicates of characters or require consciousness swapping. Instead, the worldline converges to a state where both Kurisu and Mayuri are alive, and the negative outcomes are avoided. Conclusion: The officially correct interpretation is that Okabe physically time travels to the past, sustains a stab wound while saving Kurisu, and returns to the future in the Steins Gate worldline as the sole Okabe. He retains his injuries and memories, thanks to physical time travel and his Reading Steiner ability. There is no replacement or merging with another Okabe's consciousness. Additional Clarifications: Why Okabe Ends Up in the Hospital: Upon returning to the Steins Gate worldline, Okabe collapses due to his untreated stab wound. This leads to him being hospitalized. Suzuha advises him to seek medical attention immediately because the injury is serious. No Paradox with Multiple Okabes: The time travel mechanics in Steins;Gate avoid creating paradoxes by ensuring that only one version of a character exists in a given worldline at a time. The act of physical time travel doesn't duplicate the traveler but moves them along the worldline. Causality and Attractor Fields: Certain events tend to occur in similar ways across different worldlines due to attractor fields. However, in the Steins Gate worldline, the convergence results in a positive outcome without the inevitable tragedies of previous attractor fields. References from Official Material: Anime and Visual Novel Endings: Both depict Okabe successfully saving Kurisu and returning to a future where both she and Mayuri are alive. Supplementary Content: Materials like the Steins;Gate 0 visual novel and anime expand on the mechanics but consistently show that Okabe's actions lead to a singular existence in the Steins Gate worldline without consciousness overwriting. This explanation aligns with the official narrative and mechanics established in Steins;Gate. It clarifies that Okabe's physical journey and unique abilities allow him to navigate the complexities of time travel without creating duplicates or paradoxes involving multiple versions of himself.
I took the ending as if Okabe 1's mind replaced Okabe 2's mind, and Okabe 1 continued where Okabe 2 left off. Either way though, one of them would have had to die / no longer exist.
You got the premise wrong , why do you think Okabe 1 and 2 are different? They are the same , the time Machine with Suzuha doesn't go to different time lines , it goes to the SAME world line , so he simply went back to where he came from , we literally saw Mayuri giving him flowers after he was hospitalized after stabbing himself. according to the explanation of of John Titor , when you go back in time and do a change to prevent someone from dying , here a different world line is born , one with that person being saved and one with that person being dead , Okabe simply went back to the same world line after being stabbed and that time line with Kurisu being dead just moves on , theoritically there might be only 1 world line and it's always the one who Okabe with reading Steiner jumps to while other timelines disappear but that's just a theory with a long discussion. Anyway to make it short , Suzuha simply brought Okabe to where she took him from , and then she got lost in time to die and let time fix itself , while the anime didn't show that directly , they showed us that he was being hospitalized , so he 100% went back to where he came back from. That Poor Suzuha on the other hand who got lost in time and died will probably be saved by Okabe from Steins Gate world line after he grows up and a time Machine is made , probably in 2025 considering it's the year he dies in Alpha and Beta world lines , and then fake his death to decieve the world like he did in 0 so that he also survives himself. I can even Argue all 3 Okabes are the same Okabes but Okabe 0 memories won't transfer to Okabe from Steins Gate until like 2025 , because I believe only 1 timeline exists anyway. 1 final thing , The authors of Steins Gate themselves don't know all answers , so Okabe himself doesn't either , it's bunch of theories being mixed together to make a Sci Fi work , I don't think theorizing even more will add anything to the table , anything outside of what the authors made obvious is just overthinking because they themselves can't answer , so either Steins Gate is full of plot holes , or has 0 plot holes but bunch of extra useless theories.
This video is old, incomplete, half assed and more, but okabe 1 and 2 are different. The fact that 1 gets a metal upa and 2 gets a plastic one is proof that they aren't exact same.
you got all wrong lol pity
you are forgetting how time travel works when ever you go back in time and change something you make a new timeline where that happened where you are also there so what i imagian is the Suzuha just after dropping him off "disappears" because there is no reason for her to stick around and ruin the new timeline. where as okabe the point of this operation was not to change the timeline enough to cause a major shift. in which case everything becomes a self fulfilling prophecy they created a new timeline branching off from the first. every time a something goes back it creates a new timeline that is connected to the old one the changes might be minor and may not even show up in the counter but they do exist.
But still, if okabe sees kurisu laying on the floor with blood next to her, he will think that she died, this means he still is going to Send the D-mail in the past Changing the timeline from beta to alpha. Everything would go then just as we saw in steins gate and, trying to save kurisu, okabe would kill her the first time and save her the second
I can't wait to see you fly in the next video.

I don't see the plot hole here, the timeline after Okabe saves Kurisu creates a totally peaceful timeline from the moment her father boards a plane to Russia without the research documents. Okabe 2 as you call him is just the Okabe of that worldline, that's why paradoxes are to be avoided as Suzuha says, which means she implies seeing yourself from different points in the worldline is bad, which means two versions of the same person can exist in one worldline instant. The timeline he created after saving Kurisu is the same one in which Okabe 2 exists. Okabe says something to the effect of, "You'll have the craziest 3 weeks of your life, good luck" to himself, suggesting that this is all part of one timeline after all. So at the start of the show when Okabe sees Kurisu lying in the pool of blood she is not actually dead. That's the whole point. He had to complete the loop and fake the start to get the favorable end. Thus he would not disappear as he is just the same Okabe but from 3 weeks in the future.
I will try to articulate my thoughts carefully as to not stumble and contradict the line of my reasoning myself, but hear me out. EDIT. THE MORE I THINK THE LESS SENSE IT ALL MAKES AND THE MORE PROBLEMS I FIND. I SPENT 3 HOURS ON ALL THIS AND IT KEEPS GETTING WORSE HOLY SHIT. IT'S SO BAD THAT I HAVE TO ANSWER MY OWN COMMENT TO FIT ALL THIS IN. By definition given to us by Okabe 0, Stein's Gate is the timeline where Okabe deceived himself, and thus, deceived the world, as he propelled forward the chain of events that got him to episode 23 where branching between SG 0 and SG EP 24 takes place, while ensuring that Kurisu remained alive. There indeed was a mistake that contradicted the established innerworkings of the time machiene and time travel, and that being Suzuha disappearing at all. As we have learned in Ep. 16, time machiene allows it's passenger to traverse time within a certain timeline. That is evident from the fact that after Suzuha's departure into the past, she got her letter to the same Okabe she left behind, the continuity of events, mainly the wreckege of the time machiene by the storm, being in place, and the timeline not changing through her movement in time alone, which is evident by the fact that Okabe's Reading Steiner does not activate after she sets off. What also is the case, is that after Okabe removes his latest D-mail, that outcome changes, as he is thrusted into the timeline where he did not interfere with her and she got in 1975 safely. The question that is begotten is the following: can a time machiene move between different timelines, or is it limited to the one timeline it originates from? Answer to this is provided to us by S;G0, in instance of Mayuri talking to herself through the phone. If they could only move within their own timeline, it would make no sense, because from that interaction they spurred the necessary step to keep Okabe from giving up on reaching Stein's Gate timeline. Thus we have conclusive evidence that time machiene can behave both ways. You can either stay within one worldline or traverse between them. Or, rather, use it in a way that branches new timelines off. By the same vein, this single interaction disregards the supposed rule that there can be no interactions between the same person of different timelines. Because such limitation makes no sense. What is actually implied, is that such interaction would spur out a different timeline, creating confusion and probably resulting in convergence provoking disasterous outcomes. To better literate the concept, I reffer to Homestuck, as it did time travel in the best most consistent way to date in fiction in my opinion. There are two types of time loops: stable ones, which are self-contained, and unstable ones. Difference is that the latter ones are branching off more timelines, while stable ones do not. What does that mean: Imagine if Okabe had an interaction with himself at some point in time, which would go as crossing one another in the corridor and giving one another a high-five. Disregard the content of the situation itself, for the purposes of the thought only key components are 2 Okabes, point in time and interaction. For such an interaction to take place in a certain point in time would have to mean one of two possible things: A) There is 1 Okabe in this timeline: Present Okabe that is the Okabe 1 who gives a high-five, and HIS FUTURE SELF, which means, that at some point in Okabe-1's future he traveled back in time, met his PAST (from his current point of view) self and gave his past self a high-five. Present Okabe then moves through time into the future, becomes future Okabe, meets his past self, gives him a high-five and moves on. The timeloop is self-sufficient and closed off, with no extra timelines made. B) There are 2 Okabes in this timeline: Present Okabe (still Okabe-1), who originates from this very timeline, and Okabe-2, who came to this timeline from a different timeline. This means, that Okabe-1 never becomes Okabe-2 and there are in a single point of continuity, exist 2 Okabes from different timelines. Such would be an open-ended time loop. Mayuri's situation in S;G 0 is fitting into the second category, because at one point of continuity there are two Mayuri's present: Mayuri-0, who is inside the time machiene, and Mayuri-1, who received a call, and they are from different timelines, because Mayuri-1 NEVER ENDS UP in SG;0 timeline outcome, including the time machiene, which in itself is a point of the new timeline branching out. This interaction is the pivotal point that establishes path to Stein's Gate. Plan of self-deception was, on a small scale, a self-contained timeloop: Since Okabe in EP. 1 never checked if Kurisu actually was dead by, say, checking her pulse, it is possible that the events we see at the start of SG are from the Stein's Gate timeline, the same one that Okabe in Ep. 24 operates during operation Skuld, and that does fit perfectly with example of high-five from above. That point is also supported by the fact that before Okabe in EP1 sent his first D-mail, there was no time machiene stuck inside the walls of Radio building. Which result in EP1 pre D-mail sharing timeline with either EP 24 or 23 / 23B since the press-conference of Dr. Nakabachi took place, Okabe attended and saw Kurisu dead / presumably dead. What is also important, is that time machiene travels by themselves never triggered Reading Steiner in Okabe. Which means, that they never changed the timeline relative to his position in continuum. Because the number shifts according to HIS relation to the timelines, since he is the only one who can clearly observe shift of the divergence meter as it happens, which means, that both arrival of Suzuha in EP. 22 of S;G, the departure from there to failed Kurisu rescue attempt in EP. 23B and EP. 23, and departure from EP. 24 to successfull Kurisu rescue attempt, has happened without timeline shifting. Existence of the Okabe 0's message from S;G0 2025 however means, that in order for that timeloop to be established, S;G0 had to happen somewhere in the array of possible outcomes, as to enable the interferance of both Okabe 0 and Mayuri 0 + Suzuha 0 in S;G 0 EP. 23 that branched EP. 23 of S;G from EP. 23B that created S;G0.
With all this established, we have arrived at a peculiar issue: after Okabe fails to save Kurisu, he arrives at a point of divergenge between two different timelines: EP. 23 and EP. 23B. Which begs the question: where the hell Suzuha brought him from and to in all those jumps? In ending of EP. 22 of S;G Okabe arrives at a timeline 1.130205. Supposedly, that's a timeline of S;G 0 start, but I am too lazy to search through the entire web trying to find conclusive answer on that one. Since we know that it is a timeline at the end of EP. 22 of S;G, we can operate under assumption that it is the same timeline for 23B and following S;G 0. Stein's Gate timeline has a divergence number 1.048596 according to wiki, and, it would seem, the visual novel. I honestly do not remember if they show the divergence number in the anime series. I suppose they do. One would THINK that the trigger of switching timelines must be Okabe-0's D-mail to Okabe that he received on date of Makise's death, but was only able to decrypt and open AFTER failing to save Makise (however the fuck that worked out). That assumption however is wrong, because Okabe-0 at the end of 23B ALSO HAS THAT MESSAGE IN HIS PHONE, because both Okabe from S;G and Okabe-0 from S;G0 received it in S;G EP. 1, thus it is not the catalyst that diverges 1.130205 and 1.048596 from one another. Instead, the changes that set the world into Stein's Gate timeline are both Kurisu's survival and destruction of her stolen thesis. Which means, that the Stein's Gate was reached exactly after Okabe eviscerated his own wound, deceived his past self, which prompted him to send the first D-Mail and spawn timeline 0.0571024 into being. Thus, when the jig is set off, deceived Okabe sends the first D-mail, triggering the stable time loop, and the conditions to spur Stein's Gate into existance are met. This also brings up a curious question of why do we not see timeline divergence value shifting IN THE ENTIRETY OF THAT PROCESS FROM THE MOMENT MAYURI INTERFERING TO STOP OKABE AND UP TO THE MOMENT OF ACTUALLY REACHING THE TARGET TIMELINE. Possible answers are: A) It happened when Mayuri's call to herself ended, because arrival of new imformation that shaped resolve of one person chained into a cascade that brought Stein's Gate to actuality, and that exact transformation came in the moment of the second time machiene departing and the first one returning, and we are not shown Reading Steiner's activation because in both S;G and S;G0 we observe this moment from Mayuri's perspective and she does not have Reading Steiner, at least not to the point of having ability to reference to divergence meter; B) It happened when Mayuri actually hit Okabe, because that is the difference between Okabe in EP. 23 and EP. 23B. Which in 0 might be clued in as in that moment the mechanical distortion from main theme kicks in, as if to illustrate that timeline has shifted, Which FINALLY brings us to the moment of them traveling back in time within the timeline they ended up creating to the point of their departure after saving Kurisu. Time convergence would fill up the holes of circumstantional chain of events that led to Okabe ending up in the future past the moment when he saved Kurisu's life and to the point in time and space from where he was put into hospital to treat his wound, and SUZUHA SHOULD'VE BEEN WITH HIM AND WITH THE TIME MACHIENE THAT WAS CREATED IN DIFFERENT TIMELINE ALTOGETHER AND IT IS FINE. They should've physically arrived at whatever point in time was chosen when they booked it out of the Radio Building within Stein's Gate timeline and adult Suzuha should've remained in this timeline because at no point in the series it was even remotely implied or evident that it should not be the case. HOWEVER, that brings us to another great question: WHAT HAPPENS TO TIMELINES AND PEOPLE WHO ARE SENDING D-MAILS? EP. 1 Okabe upon seeing Kurisu in blood sent his first D-Mail by accident, which spurred everything into motion AND INSERTED HIS MENTAL IMAGE AND MEMORIES INSIDE timeline 0.571024. Okabe FROM timeline 0.571024 RECEIVED memories of Okabe that witnessed Kurisu in her dead / not dead state and was visibly and verbally confused on topic of contradictions present in timeline where he ARRIVED AT, which means that his memories OVERRIDE THOSE OF THE RECEIVING OKABE. But IF WE HAVE IT ESTABLISHED, that D-mails change timeline on the basis of individuals receiving INFORMATION (and leaving traces picked up by CERN), then it MUST NECESSITATE, that after D-Mail is sent, the original timeline DOES NOT GET ERASED. This is confirmed by the fact that not only is Okabe able to retrace his movement from timeline to timeline during the events of the second half of Stein's;Gate, but that as he so does, TIME MOVES ON, WHILE HIS MEMORIES AND EXPERIENCES OVERWRITE WHAT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN OTHERWISE. But that then means, that EP. 1 Okabe who SENDS the first D-mail, is not only overrides 0.571024 Okabe, BUT ALSO CONTINUES TO EXIST IN THE ORIGINAL TIMELINE 1.13205 UNTIL HIS MEMORIES AND PERSONALITY ARE OVERWRITTEN BY EP. 22 OKABE. Which brings us to the quesion: What happened to Okabe who was deceived in EP. 24? As in, what happened to the body? As far as we can tell, body is not transfered by D-Mails nor by Time Leap machiene, only mental image is, because in S;G0 Okabe travels from 2011 to 2036 and then backwards and his mind always ends up in what his body is at the concrete point in time. Thus, the body as in physical object WITH MEMORIES OF SEEING KURISU IN BLOOD BATH DOES EXIST IN TIMELINE FROM WHICH D-MAIL IS SENT. WHICH MEANS, THAT IN STEIN'S GATE TIMELINE OF 1.048596 IN EPISODE 24 THERE HAS TO EXIST 2 OKABE'S, ONE OF WHICH THOUGHT THAT KURISU IS DEAD AND SENT THE FIRST D-MAIL TO BRING ABOUT EVENTUALITY OF TIMELINE 0.571024, AND THE OTHER ONE WHO KNOWS FOR A FACT THAT SHE IS ALIVE. Point to all this mess being, Suzuha should not have disappeared and so shouldn't have time machiene, and so in Stein's Gate timeline there are two Okabe's present, only one of which has been stabbed, AND THAT'S THE LEAST OF OUR PROBLEMS, OF WHICH THERE ARE CERTAINLY MORE THAN ONE BY THIS POINT. UPD. NOT TO MENTION, THAT SUZUHA IN EP. 23 AND IN 23B ARE TWO DIFFERENT SUZUHAS, BECAUSE ONE OF THEM IS CLUED IN ON OPERATION SKULD AND OTHER ISN'T, BECAUSE IN S;G0 SHE NEVER BRINGS THAT UP, EVEN THOUGH THE D-MAIL FROM 2025 SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVAIABLE TO BE WATCHED AT ANY POINT IN S;G0 FROM S;G EP. 23B ONWARD, WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION OF "WHICH SUZUHA DO WE SEE IN BOTH EPISODES", AND I DON'T EVEN WANT TO START DIGGING THAT HOLE.
What if Okabe's destiny was to get in a coma not only in 2025 but also in other timelines and (not every but) multiple times his empty body was destined to be re-filled with past memories from the time jumps, and then more than one of them eventually managed to actually use the time machine offscreen instead of just the one we were shown at the very end of 0?
wouldnt reading steiner activate? isnt that why okabe 0 traveled away? so that okabes wouldnt be riddled with trauma
@@kingofstrangeness7014 At least as far as I have seen based on the anime and the original vn, physical time travel doesn't trigger reading steiner. okabe 0 could travel "away" to begin with because of that. besides that though, if reading steiner did kick in, he wouldn't have kept the stab wound. this video is old, bad and extremely half baked though, don't take the barely starting youtube me of the over 2 years ago too seriously. if you have time i would appreciate it if you took a look at my newer stuff to see if any of them interest you. it kinda hurts that this one video that isn't even good has like over 80% of my channels entire view count.
@@APolygons2 I still think it is a great video regardless. This is why I love the fanbase because of coming up with theories and explanations to explain this masterpiece of a series.
@@JoseC687 I can't deny the sheer volume of theories and debates that have spawned because of this video, even if I don't like the video itself. Though, I am baking something actually good for Halloween, so stick around if that sounds interesting, it's probably going to be my best video by far.
@@APolygons2 I look forward to it.
Hi! Your local Akudama Drive Wiki admin here (on Miraheze) (the Fandom Wiki is closed and incomplete so please don't bother making it through the ads) (Miraheze Wiki) (Mirahe-)..... I didn't give your video a chance at first because I feel like I know everything there is to know about Akudama Drive. Which may be true. But I enjoyed watching you talk about what you love about this seriously underrated show. If anyone really wants to learn what happens in the manga-exclusive backstories, but can't buy the manga, I'm working on writing summaries for them on the Wiki as their English translation comes out. I also can't afford to buy the entire manga, but other fans have been kindly telling me which chapters include those exclusive scenes so I can focus on those. You can just visit the Wiki, look at the character's page and check if there's a spoiler banner for the manga above or inside their History section! (You guessed it, on Miraheze.) Small correction: the manga wound up starting ahead of the anime, because the anime was delayed due to... the year being 2020. Interestingly, that delay is what caused the extremely symbolic last episode to release... on Christmas Eve. If you get my meaning.
Glad someone else picked up on this because it's been bugging me for years lol. Also, on a Doylist level, Load Region of Deja Vu makes way more sense when you realize it's just trying to be Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya with Steins Gate characters.
I had never really thought about it; but you're right lmao I need to rewatch disappearance, that movie was a god damn masterpiece in every way possible. Btw, If you can take a look and see any of my newer videos seem interesting to you. it kinda hurts than this less than half baked thing I made when I had just started has over 90% off my channel's entire view count lol
A request… please watch sub
I have seen both, multiple times, and I have played the VN which is also in sub... I just like the dub more, Tatum fucking killed it as okabe. I liked him in the role so much, he has been my favourite voice actor since I watched steins;gate.
Incredible Vibery So much Comfort and so much DisComfort Beautiful story Goode ending
username checks out lol This video sucks, but a masterpiece of a show nonetheless.
what the duck did i just watch

It took me 6 episodes to start enjoying the series, the characters don't present themselves as well as they could have, their reactions look over the top, but then by episode 12 or so everything really takes off and it keeps you bingeing it all
You... Realize they are supposed to be a bunch of weirdos?
@@baguettedepain3975 Yes, by some episodes you start caring about them, it's just this anime took me more time than, say, Higurashi or Shiki or even Occultic;Nine
@@Sleepdriver1984 Higurashi has 48+ episodes though, not sure if it's a fair comparison. There is a debate there with exposition in fiction needing time etc, that I still have with friends to this day.
@@baguettedepain3975 I get it, then it probably was the quasi-scientific approach to time paradoxes instead of leaving them kind of unexplained, like in Higurashi, The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, Erased, Summer Time Rendering, etc. that must have put me off initially or slowed my enjoyment down, more than the characters themselves
I find that interesting, cause I didn't care at all about the higurashi cast even by the end. But steins;gate had like the most lovable weirdos friend group from the start. Honestly the only story that has given me the same sense of "an actual believable friend group" is persona 4. (3 or 5 might be the same but i've only played 4)

I'm seeing a lot of different opinions that people give here, but let me just get one out of my system before i choke: Soo, everyone's just assuming that when Suzuha and Okabe1 returned after fooling Okabe2, the one who meets Kurisu on the street is Okabe1, yes? IMO it wasn't OKabe1, but instead, Okabe2 that we see in the final scene. Okabe1 must've disappeared like the vid stated. I have my reasons to believe this: Okabe2 also went through the three weeks of hell (till ep 22) but this time Suzuha didn't return from the past to warn him about the future (as it was already saved). So, in due course (like 5-6 hours after returning from deleting the 1st d-mail), he could've searched the internet about the real cause behind Kurisu's death (since this time, he didn't know that he was the true killer), but to his surprise, there was no news regarding her death. Instead, he found the news that she was found unconscious in the storage room covered with the blood of an unknown person. So, he must've concluded that it was just his misunderstanding that Kurisu had died. He was happy, but he didn't contact her as she was already supposed to have left for America (he knew this from the previous worldline). Later, he might've been hospitalized for LITERALLY ANY REASON as it was never stated that he got hospitalized due to a stab wound (he could've been sick, lost consciousness, bitten by a dog, scratched by a cat, punched by Mr. Braun, etc.). After which he could've made 8 lab member badges and distributed them to all the "members" he could find (so as to remember everyone from the three weeks as they were a big part of the suffering and had sacrificed a lot), which led to the fine scene we see in the anime. PS: I've only watched the anime, so don't kill me if something I said was wrong according to the vn
That would make sense, but sadly the vn does straight up say he went to the hospital because of the stab! Either way, this video sucks, and doesn't do the idea of itself justice, there is so much more room for dicussion here (as you can see in the comments lol). Either way, hope you enjoyed. !?!
If we take into account the end of Feiris from the novel, in which Okabe arrives at a variant of the Alpha timeline, we can conclude that Okabe 0 is not the same as 1 or 2, I mean that Okabe 0 was perhaps from the Beta 1.2 variant, and Okabe 1 from the 1.5 (it's an example), even if they have gone through the same events, those small variants could determine Kurisu's death/life as it was explained to us in the series as the butterfly effect. Apart from that, Okabe 2 could never have reached Steins Gate since when returning to the Beta timeline, Suzuha sends him to August 28th to prevent the Third World War, because the Beta attraction field will always converge in a war and Kurisu's death, having to repeat the process to save Kurisu, creating a paradox that repeats itself infinitely with infinite Okabes from variants of the Beta timeline.
Good thing there will be a sequel to Steins; Gate called Steins;???😊.We also have Steins;Gate reboot which could be a sequel
Is it confirmed to be a sequel? I'm pretty hyped either way. This video is REALLY half baked though, don't take it too seriously. Either way, hope you enjoyed. I always interpreted it as Okabe 1= Okabe 2. Like Okabe never actually saw Kurisu die, it was always the fake version.
But that would make the entire story pointless. Besidrs the fact that the second okabe gets a plastic upa instead of a metal one proves they aren't the exact same. But either way, hope you enjoyed. If it always was a fake version SG 0 wouldn't exist I think.. Maybe I didn't understand your point.
