Hello Everyone My name is Anthony Sucato and I am a 52 year old Martial Artist and dedicated Father. I am constantly seeking to improve myself and lead a Happy, Healthy and Positive Life! Boxing, Kick Boxing, Jui Jitsu, Muay Thai and Physical Fitness have been lifelong passions of mine and an everyday pursuit and lifestyle. Life is good!! and I am here to share what I've learned and continue to learn and pay respect to the people on here who have helped me continue the pursuit of my passions outside of the Martial Arts School and Boxing Gym. @@juliamuller15 Hi!! Havnt tried them yet because of the price but i would bet that they are awesome. Im working on the rival Guerrero series of bag gloves right now

do you use wrist straps in your mediums? and are these still your favorite
@@holdenvore4415 Ayo!!! I do not wear wrist straps or hand wraps with mine. I use these for precision not power. Still love them and still ONE of my favorites, BUT I bought the Rival Guerrero Intelli Shocks 10oz, and I love these for POWER AND PRECISION. These I use for Heavy Bag because there is more cushioning protection But again no hand wraps.

My knuckles bleed when I hit the heavy bag with no wraps.. Would you recommend getting 1 size bigger if you were to use wraps with them?
@@_Chef_Jeff_ No Doubt my buddy and i would also suggest either some gel fast wraps or if you got the dough Fortress Boxing fast wraps.

@@millstreetboxingfitness614 like you Im Gen X and used heavy bag for home workout for many years, but now coming back to boxing looking for lower impact options instead. Just picked up a Rival 14x20 maize, you should def check out one of these, it’s perfection.

I first bought the fx guererro matrix edition thats have the same d3 tech and were over 250 after all was said and done. Around 2 years ago now abd the velcro is almost completely gone. These ones in white were sold out forever but i finally got em from a 3rd party and omg. These were just over 100 and honestly i like em better which is weird as they are cheaper. Also i found the stiching and quality in the rb50 were cleaner. The Guerrero stitching is not very well done
Try the Phenom bag gloves. Very similar and well made. Not better just as good.

Do they ever get dirty or leave a mark on the white gloves? Basically look worn out.. or should i just go for the black version
I love the white....but do they get dirty? Yup Yup they sure do, and that's what we want Lots Of Use! The black is cool though too my brother

I'm new to boxing fitness workouts - I only use gloves for bag work. I have been using the Hayabusa H5 gloves and they're good. But when I put on the Rival RB50, wow they were so much more comfortable. The RB50s have this gel shield on the front of the gloves that really provides a great cushion. I also like that the velcro wraps almost completely around the wrist. I would rate these close to a 10 in terms of protecting my hands and comfort.

I want to order these but I am not sure what size to get. I am thinking I will order a small. I usually get 12oz gloves
If you wrap your hands, get the medium, if not the small will be good if you train without wraps and have small hands. My hands are on the biggest end of medium and smallest end of large (if that makes sense) and I got the mediums and they are perfect. One of my #1 gloves for Dbl End Bag work.

How are they holding up? I'm debating between these and the rfx guerrero intellishock for an extra $60. I wonder if the wrist lock would be worth the extra price
I love mine and use them every single day, bags and pads. I would bet that the the wrist lock could be worth the extra money in the sense that there is probably deeper more supportive and thorough Velcro. If money is tight get the 50's if not treat urself to those Guerrero 's!! You deserve em train hard!!!!

Absolutely right . Iam an ex kick boxer and martial arts instructor and yes you do have to change our work outs and be smart at this post iam 65 and still working out

Hi, I'm 5'10" and I weigh 165 lbs, I have a slim calf of 14.5 inches, do you think the medium size will work for me? Just like you, I don't know whether to order a small size and it doesn't cover my shin, thx for the review

Excellent review, Sir. I wanted 2 pairs of gloves to order and arrive at the same time, one for myself and the second as a gift. I was able to find 2 gloves in XL on the other side of the country out of a store in Hollywood, California, which was the stores last two pairs. A black and a white pair. As far as the performance of the gloves, there is a love/hate relationship because these gloves drive you to hit the bag or focus mitts accurately to get that nice popping sound. And once you get the precision down, and repeatedly get the popping sound, it feels so good.

Great review.Just what I was looking for. I am just returning to hitting a bag again which glove would you recommend to start with RB5 or RB50? I will eventually purchase both. My hand measures 8.75" in your opinion should I lean towards the large? Thank you
My hands are at an 8 and the gloves are perfect without wraps the way I like it, for Your hands the large would definitely work especially if ur wrapping them. Thank You So much I really Appreciate that!!!

@@millstreetboxingfitness614 well, i better improve my lifestyle then! I also respect the fact that your this healthy even though you dont have a lot of money. People that are born rich will have a hard time understanding how it is to live with little and still be the best version of yourself. Aint easy when healthy food, working out, buying sportsgear etc is a very big part of your income! So thank you!
my friend try an Aqua bag if your muscles and joints cannot take a heavy bag I have a dozen injuries I feel pain. and keep up the good work with the double end bags

Rival rb11 & rival guerrero ones are suppose to be good too I’ve heard , and Ofc winning ones aswell
Yeah I heard the Guerrero's we're nice as well. I have the 12 oz Winnings but I like the 16 's much better
Winning is too expensive you want some win 1 gloves cheaper but similar quality

Well that's like 5'6" so Id say the mediums would be great for you. I don't know much about the SP5's, I would check Carlos at csquared boxing he has probably reviewed them.
Come to think of it maybe the smalls would be better. What's ur weight?

I was the same way! Buying multiple gloves just for the bag work. Seeing this makes me now into this glove. Could you be THE one. If I can, I shall get it. 🥊👍🏻

I guess I‘m way to late to recommend, but what should I do I‘m 5‘11 but by hand circumference is just 19cm. And the small sized ones are up to 21,5 cm, so I ordered them. But I feel like they may not fit me because of the length of the fingers…?
Well....worst comes to worst you return them for the mediums. I'm 5"11 & 3/4's (to be technical) and the mediums fit me perfectly to where my fingertips are as far as they can go WITHOUT being uncomfortable. Best of luck bud let me know how it works out.

Good Morning!! You can use them for any sort of bag or mitt work but definitely not for sparring. Great gloves I use them everyday for one aspect or another in my training. Definitely worth having if this is what you love to do. Train Hard!!

Uncle Dave is right guys this is the first part of a 20 minute round which I walked off to check to see if my phone timer was working, which it was and didn't record the other 12 minutes. We finished this round and did 5 -3 minute rounds right after.

Do you use wraps with these?
No I don't. The gloves are so snug you don't need them. These gloves are beautiful for double end bag work and your fast in and out combos on the heavy bag. I use every day for my double end bag work.

Im 6’1 and weigh 164lbs and you look way bigger than i do. Non the less i shouldve watched this before buying it.
I'm 5'11 ish and a stable 155....and remember a cheap pair of fabric shin guards underneath will go a long way and combine that with some sports tape around the Velcro straps when you spar and those things are not coming off. Happy training brother!
Do you think have sense to buy both rb5 for precision bag work and rb50 for heavy bag work and mitts?
Definitely if you can I would. I love having both for different feels. RB50's for my heavy bag and a little Dbl end but RB5's for my Dbl end and a little heavy bag work. Train Hard & Happy Training!!!
