Hello! I'm Chelsea and I'm an artist. I've played with lots of mediums over the years, from acrylic painting and clay sculpture to knitting and origami. My current favorite is resin art. I make all sorts of stuff but my focus lately is on handmade dice and customized tumblers. As I share my work with the world I've received requests on tutorials, so here ya go!
Handmade Dice: 10 Days Of Tumbling + Sonic Cleaning
I threw a bunch of dice into my vibratory tumbler with corn cob media for 10 days, then cleaned them all with a sonic jewelry cleaner and a sonic toothbrush. These are my results.

Is the shiny surround they put on the polymer clay hooks? And one other question. Could they be air dryed without the light?
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your first question. As for the 2nd, the light is for curing the UV Resin. The only thing that will make UV resin set and become hard and touchable is UV light, therefore the UV light is required when using UV resin.

Thats awesome! I just got some of these things too for my tumbler so I’m glad our results are the same too, i’m going to play around with some porcelain media too. I did 2 days so far so i will do them longer as well
Could use alcohol inks instead of nail polish also. Dries alot faster.
When watermarbled, the nail polish dries very quickly because it is such a thin layer. Dries much faster than when you paint your nails. I've never watermarbled with alcohol ink, ai'll have to give it a try!
What kind of sealant to seal it list different ones please
I just used a final layer of the same resin the rest of the handle is made of.

Non toxic kind of resin?
I know of no crafting resin that is non-toxic when in its un-cured stage.
@@studioeldeenhandmadeart3879 I used to make paper weights out of resin but I did it out doors and let it dry outside
Can you use a pen mold with resin and add hook to it before it cures without using a light thingy? Like regular resin without mask ventilator
Working with any epoxy would require a respirator and proper ventilation. But yes, using a mold would also work.

I love this, so detailed! Many makers/artists omit the various costs of production and only focus on the obvious materials. A calculator like this will avoid financial losses, it’s like the crystal ball of profit 🙂 Thank you for sharing this.

Sure! It's a Google Chrome extension called Screencastify.
Can you dome with it?
It's possible to dome with it, but it's maybe just on the verge of being too thin. Solarez does have a specific Doming Resin that I imagine would work really well for doming, but I haven't tried it so I don't actually know what it is like.
