@@kristoonz No problemo. I actually upgraded myself to a white toner printer so now I'm using that to create the white layer. But it did cost a pretty penny, but it saves me a lot of time, I just have to design the underbase layer in photoshop one time and then its done.

I used photoshop to set up the art and overall template. Then i exported a pdf and printed that file normally onto 8.5 x 11 transparent paper.

Haha unfortunately either way is time consuming. The paint pen method is indeed the quickest way. Not the paper cut-out way! But I’d say there is no fast route. The most efficient way would be to get cards mass produced by a legit company, but that would take serious cash up front and lots of time for preparation of digital files. Alibaba would be your best bet for affordable pricing at that point. Thanks for your comment!

You can invest in a cricut or any other cuting plotter. Laser engravers work too. Printers with white toner work too, you can print the silhouette on the transfer foil, then insert it again and print the design over it. These printers are alot more expensive tho.

@@miketambo2428 Just like a cutting plotter, it can cut out many shapes in relatively fast time, just takes a bit of tuning the engraving options. In addition you can use it to cut into wood as well, or burn designs on metal business cards etc. In your case you would use it to cut out the opacity layers, such as that silhouette of the hand in his trading card he made.

Starting to get into making my own player cards. Thanks for your insight on how to get these types of cards made. I wanted to make an all original without having to cut up cards... Hat tip brotha

@@mojolojo8605 Oh definitely glad I could help! I have a shorter similar video on my channel where I paint the white layer with a posca marker. Yes great point! I tried two methods: white markers behind the transparent sheet and white paper cut to the exact silhouette then glued behind. What you’re describing is more like my second method yet slightly different since you’re describing a pre-printed layer of white behind the character. As far as I know, my local print companies do not print white onto transparent paper…which is a bummer. I know sticker companies like Sticker Mule can print white onto transparent sticker paper like you mentioned, but that’s very costly and wouldn’t be an affordable at home DIY at that point. Great advice! You definitely understand the layering process to this.

The store I print at is FedEx Kinkos. I’m in California and there are many in the US. Regardless, most print shops should offer printing on transparent sheets. It costed me about $2 per print. Thanks for your support!

Thanks! After opening literally 20 blaster boxes, some of my top hits have been 3 gold cards, 1 rose gold, 2 c-variants, and 1 color error. So in my case, it seems color errors have been the hardest to get along with rose gold cards.

Hello Danny! You should know that certain rarities can only be found in hobby boxes, and certain rarities can only be found in blaster boxes. Regardless, the rarest possible cards are called superfractors and they are possible to find in both. Search "2023 GPK Chrome 6 odds" and refer to GPKNews.com for specifics. I've had fun opening both so, in my opinion, you can't go wrong with either one! I suppose the real question is how many packs do you want to open at once? So do you want a $20 blaster box with 6 packs or an $80 hobby box with 24 packs? If you're able to get the hobby box for like $60-$70 at your local card shop, that would be the better bargain.
