another tip i'd give is have thick skin - if you are easily agitated or annoyed, just dont join. youre gonna run into toxic people who just completely degrade you for doing the slightest thing wrong or not listening to their callouts. i js kinda took these people less seriously and made a mental note to not gaf about really anything they say towards me, and its worked for a solid year lmao

Before reading this, know that this is my opinion of the event. This is not to attack the event or people making it.(ABSOLUTELY DONT DO THAT.) THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO MADE AN EVENT FOR LOTS OF PEOPLE TO PLAY AND DESERVE CREDIT FOR IT HARD WORK. Now that I have this here to make sure I don't get cancelled on Twitter, let begin! Also, please note this is being made at 1:52 at night and not made to be an expert constructive criticism video essay. Just my opinion that I want to share with my friend who made this video. There are a few main reasons why I personally never enjoyed funniewars. When playing it the first time, the event seems to have potential, but after watching over vods (also once again playing it myself), here is my personal main argument against the event. A few things to note before playing is that to give a comparison of where I stand out in my skill, people mainly balance me as a third frag. In Minecraft, I'm mainly known for having internet issues, but when at my peak, that was where it was usually best to place me. The reason for explaining this will come later. While yes, there are staff preventing the toxicity from this event, and they are humans doing their very best (wanna state this, they are humans with lives, so don't go attacking anyone on Twitter), imo it just doesn't seem to be improving. Now obviously it a competitive event, which means it likely to have more people yelling like a cod lobby, but the amount of people complaining about getting called slurs should be noted. There is also once again the toxic mindset of some people who are good at the game, thinking it's okay to insult people who aren't at their level. It's fine to be upset, but yelling at someone with literal anger is something I never accept as an okay thing to do. Another point, which is once again imo, is that it is not fun to funnel anything to other people. Like you say, the event is competitive, which means 9/10 times you want to give your diamond to the number 1 teammate. I personally hate this strategy because I want to play the game and have an equal chance at getting kills. A player with weaker armour is likely to get targeted because they are easy to kill, and at that point I may as well just be watching a RUclips video of iwar. Of course the argument is just to get better at the game, which, while fair, once again I WANNA PLAY THE GAME! Obviously I'm attempting to improve to be better than a third frag in most events to win more events, but where is the fun of getting killed just to spectate the event just because you got killed because you have not that much good stuff? At the point once again, I might as well just watch RUclips if you just want me to funnel most of the best stuff just to help a single person indv and throw mine down the drain.
