Something I love in this even more than the saber combat is the application of the force. Something I hate in a couple of the movies is when the usage of the force is just a small gust of wind that manages to push a guy 10 feet away. In the first fight, a force push is a loud, violent affair. It sounds like someone has set off a bomb, and it’s shockwave has been focused into a single direction. The person who is hit by this shockwave is not just pushed 10 feet away, they are thrown like a rag doll, and tumble to the ground before regaining their footing. 2nd, fight, the Sith is hit with a push and it sounds like reality itself is being cracked and bent from the immeasurable power behind the blast, and unsurprisingly he is thrown with such force that he cracks the rock behind him upon impact.

I love the lore of Star Wars. Having his apprentice die makes his power flare up immensely. Not to mention when force users fight with lightsabers they’re technically slowing down time to read each others movements. That means that according to lore, Malgus hit the Jedi, like, 15 times in only 3 seconds. So cool

God, Duel of the Fates has to be one of the best pieces of music ever made! SO GOOD!!!
