    I believe the SUV is gorgeous but not practical to buy. I can't see them lasting longer then 5 years until they are seen in the junkyard because the battery failed or the wheel motor which will total the car by insurance companies. They will make excellent interior swaps for people who will customize their vehicles they are restoring.

    You know most of these ICE automakers making electric vehicles just don’t do it like Tesla does. One of the many things that sets Teslas apart is that nothing about how you interact with it feels like a regular car. The people that say a vehicle like this is better than a Tesla are only saying that because they’re scared of too much change. This is where Tesla shines, they don’t feel like a regular ICE car.

    Do you know if the V6 e-hybrid models (4/4S) are EPA certified for US import yet? The ICE ones were approved July but I haven’t seen anything for the hybrids yet.

      @@daviangodwinfrom an engineering perspective, I agree. However if you look at EPA’s certification database you’ll see only ICE is approved. I don’t know what the hold-up is on the hybrids. Hopefully just paperwork …

      @ EPA cert completed Nov 22. car received today! Just took delivery for mine. Based on the in-car system, a full battery is just over 40mi. The EPA data says 21 combined MPG and 54 MPGe, up to 480 miles range.
