Craig & Kat's Adventures
Австралия
Добавлен 3 авг 2021
We're going adventuring on our motorbikes, a KTM 390 Adventure and a Husqvarna Norden 901 .
Kgari Part 2
Some lovely sunshine for part 2 of our ride around K’Gari (Fraser Island).
Heading for home via some of the other sites to see on K’Gari. We were chasing low tide so will need to come back another time (when it’s not raining and in the 4wd) to fill in some of the gaps.

K'gari Part 1

The weather was not in our favour in part 1 of our ride around K’Gari (Fraser Island), but we got to see some of the island sites including a few encounters with dingos.
Bellthorpe to Linville

Adventuring through Bellthorpe National Park through to Monsildale and Louisavale Roads.
Border Ranges, Mebbin and Wolumbin National Parks
Просмотров 325Месяц назад
We finally managed to complete the loop we’ve tried to get around two times already, incorporating Border Ranges, Mebbin and Wolumbin National Parks in northern NSW. Music: www.bensound.com
Lacey’s Creek Road and Western Escarpment
Просмотров 2822 месяца назад
Short ride up Lacey’s Creek Road to The Gantry then a loop of the Western Escarpment.
D’Aguliar and Glasshouse Mountains
Просмотров 5163 месяца назад
Changing plans on the fly due to road closures in the D’Aguliar National Park, ended up in the Glasshouse Mountains working out where some trails pop out, and having a bit of a look at some of the trails we haven't been on.
Cooloola Weekend, Day 2
Просмотров 3693 месяца назад
Little bit soggy on the Cooloola Way on our return trip back to Brisbane.
Cooloola Weekend
Просмотров 1094 месяца назад
First time riding the 60km long Cooloola Beach. Perfect time of year especially when you get bogged in the soft sand a few times.
Lockyer National Park, the return visit
Просмотров 2904 месяца назад
Back into Lockyer National Park for a bit more of an explore. Great trails and so close to home.
Easter Day ride
Просмотров 3625 месяцев назад
Easter ride into the D’Aguliar National Park, with everyone else! Side trips along some of the trails in the Glasshouse Mountains park as well.
Looking for trails in Lockyer National Park
Просмотров 4786 месяцев назад
We set out through Lockyer National Park to ride some trails we'd not yet been on. Sadly the route exists only on Google maps, we did find the other end but that's a ride for another day.
Fun explore in Northern NSW
Просмотров 6047 месяцев назад
This ride we headed south through the Numinbah Valley and out through the Wollumbin and Mebbin National Parks in NSW. Diverting around the Border Ranges National Park which is sadly closed at the moment we headed back home via Lions Road.
Maroon dam and beyond
Просмотров 6777 месяцев назад
From Maroon Dam we headed out over the border and back again for some Condamine River Road fun. Some of the crossings have been concreted, which will make for a fun slip and slide once the algae grows. Nice to finally have The Head Road open as well.
Out for a spot of lunch

Easy ride after a busy week up to O'Reillys in Lamington National Park.
Daisy got a new shoe

First go at replacing a tyre, at least we know how to do it should we be caught out on the trails ... so long as we have a tyre with us 😄

Bellthorpe, Conondale, Jimna and Imbil - Day 1
Great roads. Sucks about the GPS.
It’s so nice out that way. Nothing that a bit of super glue can’t fix, so far anyway!
Hi Im lovin you pair. Ive just subscribed. Ken
Stony Creek Rd, not Sandy Cr Rd. One of my favorite ingress points to Bellthorpe. Looks to have dried out quick.
Fraser Island you mean sand only, WHY?
Haha, yeah. I was over sand by the time we got home. The bikes have been washed 3 times and there’s still sand coming out of them.
Really Great work
👍Now THAT was an Interesting ride ! It's nice to relax in my lounge and watch SOMEONE Else do all the Hard YACKA !...I Really enjoyed Tagging along !...THANKS you guys....and Stay SAFE !🏍🦘🇦🇺
Great to see you on those tracks. Hoping to do them soon also. Last time was a year ago.
Hi such a beautiful area 👍
It is. Nice to finally get through the whole way without road closures.
Nice...thanks for sharing !
I love videos that have no music so you can hear the motors and talking....new sub....Thank you !!
Nice ride and a favourite of mine being so close to Brisbane. From the Gantry you can follow the track out to Neurum Creek outside of Woodford for an extended play version :) ATB Jason.
We love it too. Often add in the extra to Woodford and then through the trails in the glasshouse mountains 😊
I’m pretty sure I spotted you and Craig in Dayboro on Sunday 30th June. It’s a busy old place on a fine Sunday
Oh cool. Yeah Dayboro gets pretty busy on the weekends.
Used to ride around those places on my DR400 in the early 80's. Thanks for the tag along.
Just curious what kind of adv motorcycles are you guys riding?
Hi there. We have a KTM390 Adventure and Husqvarna Norden 901.
Enjoyed the video. Keep riding safe.
Thanks you guys ! Another successful ride, apart from the traffic !👍 Do you know if the three bikes that passed you were Registered !? Regards from me 🏍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks Syd. It always seems to be busy through D’Aguliar National Park at the moment. Not helped by the road being closed, would have been good to have a sign up at least. One guy had his number plate attached to his backpack, not sure if that’s legit though 😆
@@craigkat_adventures Thanks for the reply !…Regards from me !🏍🦘🇦🇺🌹
P.S. Harry's Hut is a nice place to stop for lunch if it's dryish.
We have been once before and it was a good spot to stop.
Note to self: Don't do the Cooloola way in the wet. Well done you, wish my wife would take up biking. The ktm sounds a bit rough through that microphone.
Yeah, it wasn’t too bad, but certainly wouldn’t want it any wetter. Some of the puddles were getting quite big. I only started riding in 2020 (what else do you do during lockdown 😆).
👍No spills ?...You guys must be quite fit...after all your riding ! Maybe the rain was a bit too much for your mic !? Thanks for the adventure and stay upright till I see you again ! Regards from Syd 🏍🦘🇦🇺
Not this time! I was taking it super way as I injured myself the week before slipping on a rock.
@@craigkat_adventures Well you are very resilient !👍
Hi Kat, how are you? That looked like so much fun and a great ride. I'm only new to this, just bought myself a DR650. A buddy of mine asked if we could track your ride on Gaia, is this possible? Hope you can help 🙂
Hi Greg. We don’t use Gaia for navigation, but if you use the road labels I’ve included you should be able to work out which way we’ve gone.Sometimes the best fun is to not know where you’ll end up 😁
@@craigkat_adventures Cheers Kat, thanks heaps :-)
👍Well THAT was an Interesting Staying Alive video ! Glad you are both still intact !.....Thanks for taking me along.... And stay safe till next time ! ....Regards from ME ! 🏍🦘🇦🇺
On my radar, thanks for sharing… road labels/mentions very helpful 👍🍻
Thanks Peter. We’ll certainly be heading back out at some stage too.
Looks like a great ride! Definitely recommend taking an alternative route via Range road for some amazing views.
Yep. It’s a good loop.
👍Thanks you guys !...I always enjoy your rides !....Glad it was just a mirror you broke ! I watch a lot of overseas bike vloggers and it seems Odd to see you guys riding on the Left side of the road !...Oh well...that's Australia for ya ! Regards from a Local ! 🏍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks Syd! Good to be back out 😊
A lovely part of Australia, been that way a few times on the KLR 650..
Road labels a good addition 👍. Hearing Craig a lot more than previously as well 👍. Thanks for sharing 🍻
Thanks for the feedback 😊 You can now record on the Cardo so it's a bit less of a one sided conversation 😄
Hi Kat, would be great for you to tell us where you are riding & what roads you're on so we can go there too! Great content.
Will see how I go, not sure where we are half the time 😆
Leave Boonah on Boonah/Rathdowney Rd, Turn Right at Burnett Creek Rd, follow to turn right at Fletcher Rd, turn left onto Carneys Creek Rd which runs into White Swamp Rd. They stopped at Koreelah Creek Campground for a look then continued on to turn right onto Mount Lindsey Rd to Legume, turn right onto Killarney Rd to turn right onto Brossnans Rd which runs into Condamine River Rd with all the river crossings. Left onto Spring Creek Rd where they stopped at Teviot Falls Lookout then continued along The Head Rd into Carneys Creek Rd and finally left onto Boonah Rathdowney Rd back to Boonah. Its a nice little loop at around 150+ kms
Cutters campground. That's where Roz Veersma had a run in with a Panther in episode 19 of her last adventure. ruclips.net/video/Vchjs4rGLuU/видео.html
Thanks, I'll have a look 😊
Looks like you might need some new tyres. That front looks well past it's used by date. Maybe something slightly more aggressive?. Interesting going around the gate. We've been thinking of doing more of that lately as we're getting sick of National Parks locking everything up here in NSW for the bushwalkers and pushbike riders.
Normally we'd not go through, but the chap living there said it was fine 😁 Little bit of life still in the tyre 😆
@@craigkat_adventures Fair enough👍. We don't either but we're getting fed up with qall the closures.
After that graceful fall...you had me on the edge of my armchair ! ....However... I enjoyed the ride and the great scenery ! Thanks for showing us and stay SAFE and UPRIGHT Regards from Syd !👍🏍🦘🇦🇺!
Haha it's been a while since we've had a dirt nap, there was another one as well but I wasn't recording at the time 😁

Yep 😊
Nice country.
It is, everything is so green at the moment as well. Three months ago it was super dry.
🎶🎶🎶On the road agen'...It's good to see you guys on the road agen' 🎶🎶🎶 Can't half tell it had been raining, with all those creek crossings ! Looks pretty green that way !..Makes for an enjoyable ride ! Thanks for letting us tag along !..Stay SAFE and UPRIGHT ! and Regards from me !👍🏍🦘🇦🇺
Great video
Thanks 😊
Thanks you guys .Nice ride ! Stay upright ! 👍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks 😊
That's great to see the deer 🦌 out and about, cheers 👍
Except when they jump in front of you! 😆
Thanks for the ride ! Pretty dry out there ! Always good to hear you joke a bit ! What would an adventure be ...without a flat !...Regards from Syd ! 👍🏍🦘🇦🇺
Hopefully they've had some of the rain that's been falling. I'm not sure what the cattle and other animals are eating, there's not a lot of grass.
Thanks for sharing....had wondered where that road went...shame about the puncture.
We'd been wondering the same thing 😁 our first puncture so we've been pretty lucky.
I enjoyed the humps and bumps, even though YOU guys were riding over them ! Not too often that you have to bail out Craig ! YOU must be improving with your riding Kat, cause I haven't heard the F word for a few episodes now ! Thanks again for the tour. And regards from me !🦘🏍
It's a bit of a rare occurrence that's for sure 😆
Thanks you guys ! I wasn't sure where you were, until you reached the caravan park ! Glad you are back on the bikes.....and regards from me, in Morayfield ! 🏍🦘👍
It's a good loop 😊 it's nice to be back out, although the arms were feeling it by the end with all the rocks 😆
@@craigkat_adventures ….but STILL !…. you did WELL !🏍🦘👍
No Dropsys this time !....good job ! Thanks for the view of GHM lookout...you saved me a trip. Didn't know there were so many trails up that way....I enjoyed every minute. Thanks for that and stay up-right !👍🏍🇦🇺
Excellent, glad you enjoyed it 😁
@@craigkat_adventures I haven’t seen you guys for a while !…….Hope all is ok !…..Regards from SYD ! 🏍👍
We're all good thanks, new vid coming out this evening 😊
Thanks for the videos ! .Always good to see your latest adventure...and always good to see Craig and Kat pop up on the screen. Keep 'em comin' ! Oh yeah....Every fall is a lesson learned ....we hope! Regards from a Caboolturite! 🏍👍
Thanks 😁 My aim is to get down in one piece one day !
@@craigkat_adventures You WILL ! 🏍👍
Great video. What was the road/roads you travelled on after passing through Linville? Such beautiful country in that whole area. Congratulations.
Thanks 😁 after Linville we went up the highway to Blackbutt, then through the back roads and along Waterhole Gully Road down to the Anduramba area.
Nice ride, it’s good to see my backyard from another adventure rider. Thanks.
There are some lovely hidden treasures once you get off the Bruce 😊
Great video. Perfect research material for me. I'm heading that way tomorrow. Thanks for sharing
Awesome, such a great area to explore!
Great ride 👍 Haven't done louisavale Road yet, it's now on my list 😊 ATB Jason 👍
It's been on our list for a while too😊
Also Kat's riding has improved a heap since last video !👍
Haha, it depends on the day 😆
I'm a 73 yr old m/bike rider and I'd like to say that I enjoy your video. Keep up the good work and be careful.👍😎
Great vid!
Just did that route yesterday. Started off at Lacey's Creek Road along Range Road through the forest coming out at the gantry then onto Neurum Creek Bush Retreat via Lovedays Road I think 👍
There's so many routes through there, lots of fun 😁
