Hello brother, I hope everything is going well. I have a question for you. I own two 2006 Jaguar S-Types. One of them has a basic button-controlled screen, while the other has the original Jaguar large screen. I tried swapping the larger screen into the car with the smaller screen, but when I removed the smaller one, I noticed the connectors at the back are different. I ended up cutting the main cable from the car with the large screen. If I bring it to you, would you be able to handle the wiring and make the connection work?

I dont know what to do with the cambus.

All my coolant parts are now metal, I have a 2018 xf r sport 3.0 gas with the charger

I still have my 2002 3.0 X-type keeps over heating and I have already replaced water pump, thermostat, radiator, fuel fiilter, throttole body, all hoses and still overheats, i will continue and try my best to resolve the issue.

I just love you guys… appreciate all you do to educate others on petrol jags. What oil are you using? I went from castrol to Pennzoil ultra platinum to Amsoil signature series. By far pennzoil is so cheap for a while I was doing every 2k oil changes with extractor myself. Now with Amsoil it’s more expensive so I’m doing every 3k.

Great video, I have a 2014 landrover lr4 and I was misfireing on cylinders 1 and 2, I replaced the mega fuse and the battery charging monitor and swapped parts all around and still the same, finally I got a wiring diagram and traced the wires from the coil packs because i wasn't getting any signal to the coil packs, long story short it turned out to be the engine PCM, i bought one from a 2017 Jaguar XE salvage car and I took it to a tech that cloned it, now the truck runs like like a cat!!!

I appreciate the vids you are doing and the info you are sharing on the XFs to make them more reliable. I’ve heard / read mixed opinions on the metal vs the “upgraded” oem plastic. Have you had any issues with the metal? I’m thinking it may be guys not replacing the oring with the oem o- rings?? Would welcome your thoughts. Thx.

Great video, I'm about to do the same work on my F-type. On the crossover heater pipe do you also change the O rings to factory spec ones? How about the metal water pump connector seals?

Hi Dennis I have an 2005 S Type with the navigation screen and the Alpine audio What do I need to purchase from the Canavie site to support the screen a backup camera and the OBD2 support? Does their premium system include everything else one needs? Canbus, the long wire to the truck, Sim card holder (if you want to use it) etc What am I forgetting?? ;) Is the AC going to work OK? Can I see features like external temp? I know you've been over a lot of this stuff but it gets confusing seeing different videos concentrating on different models. Love your cars by the way Norm

Hi mate love the videos nice work. Just wondering are the RCA'S on the back pre amps meaning a regular amp can be fitted to the cars audio system. I have the basic audio system in my xf without a sub and no soul to the sound it puts out. Looking at fitting one of these screens and would be nice to do an easy amp install aswell. Going to do a fibreglass sub box to fit a 10" infront of the left rear wheel so dont loose boot space. Cheers for any info you can give

Tha jaguar x types have sills on the bottom which can rust easy on the under side and are notoriuos for rain water running into the passengers side floor panel and cabil filter, as well and touching the TCM chip causing all types of faults. So if you want to buy a used one get ready to spend a lost $ on a old car.
