How important is the 36 gb of ram for this? I'd like to try something like this with my 3060ti, but I only have 16 gb.
I'd say it shouldn't have too much of an impact. I actually have the 32GB of RAM for another reason than gaming. I would recommend changing your MC settings to allow for up to 8GB of RAM dedication and closing other apps while running raytraced MC! Also, almost immediately after posting this video I found an even better raytraced shader (double the performance) with even better graphics (sadly no filmgrain). They're called Photon Shaders, and I really recommend them.

clean passes i highly suggest you get better controller settings cause ur swings are hella cirved and that interferes with acc. electrostats made a great video on it
