thanks for an excellent sermon on my favorite word "Kindness". I must relay a story. When i was a small girl around 4 years old I went to Sunday School one Sunday and there i memorized my first memory verse. I was so proud i could say it back to the teacher and i practiced saying it all the way home to tell momma. I have never forgotten this verse, can't remember any of the others i must've learned, but this verse impressed me not just because i could say it! But because it always seems to come to mind even these 80+ years later. The verse was; "Be Ye kind, one to another". I think it might be in I Timothy somewhere. anyway I do try to live this way as often as i can. So whomever the teacher was all those years ago, I am grateful that she had the patience to help me learn it. And I hope i live up to her expectations of me by showing kindness to all the 'anothers' I meet.

Thank you. Reminding us that 'love without limits' brings us to our commitment to be followers of Jesus. It's a wide 'road to follow', and so often we can't even find the roadmap to show us The Way. For most of us, just taking that first small step helps to find the 'next' small step to take. And small steps, over time, lead us to an incredible Journey!

Because of the weather, I chose to watch at home today. Must share that when Chief heard your voice Ann he came into my office and cocked his head in question. Sometimes climbing a tree, in search of a broader vision, is the only answer to one’s Own intercessory prayer. Zacchaeus had to : Check his ‘sandals’, to make sure they were sturdy enough to climb that tree; Make sure that the ‘sash’, that bound his garment, was positioned just right, to hold all outward things together; And finally , to make sure his eye’s were clear of sleep and focused on the Arrival! Then ‘Your’ prayer, Zacchaeus, will be astonishingly answered, Because you understand that intercessory prayer takes both You/God acting together!
