I think he mentions there are a few with right hand drive. Including the one in the video.
This one is an export model, for English, Australian, or Japanese markets, where the driving is on the left side of the road, but most Venturi's were manufactured with the steering wheel on the "right" side.
This car still looks great. Only thing I never liked... The Citroen CX mirrors. Also found on Aston Martin.
It's beautiful
The exact production figure of the Venturi 300 was 73 units. Venturi factory total production during 14 years, 1986/2000, was a little bit less than 700 cars, in the historical factory located near the city of Nantes, on the French Atlantic coast. In 2000, the brand was purchased by the Monegasque billionaire Pastor, and transferred in Monaco, southern France. Today, the company still exists but produce only electric cars, mainly for records.
73 Venturi 400 Trophy pour le circuit - 44 exemplaires pour la 300 ;-)

Je sais parfaitement que la Trophy a été produite à 73 exemplaires, dont un certain nombre ont été homologuées pour la route, auxquels il faut rajouter les 15 Venturi 400 officielles de route, soit un total de 88 Venturi 400, tous modèles confondus. Et le nombre de chassis de Venturi 300 produits est bien de 73, et non de 44. Tous modèles confondus, turbo, bi-turbo, et automatique. Chiffre confirmé par un des sépecialistes de la marque, qui a travaillé sur ces voitures. A savoir Christophe Bihr. D'ailleurs, le chiffre lui même de production totale des Venturi de tous types, qui est officiellement de 641 voitures, est sujet à caution. En effet, on a identifié par exemple 2 Venturi 210 de plus, que les 8 produites officiellement. Même chose pour la 260 LM, produite officiellement à 33 exemplaires, alors qu'une exécution N°34 a été identifiée à la vente chez un marchand. Il faut rajouter à cela le flou lors du rachat par Pastor en 2000, alors que des autos étaient encore en cours d'assemblage à l'usine de Couëron. Donc on peut raisonablement tabler sur un chiffre de production supérieur à 650. Sans parler en plus, de la Venturi Paris/Dakar, qui à ma connaissance n'a jamais été comptabilisée dans le chiffre de production de l'usine, et dont on peut voir une vidéo sur You Tube.

25-30 years back, I was drooling as a teen over photos in auto catalogue of this car. Later, I saw a few in the wild, and my heart dropped. Now, watching this, nothing changed. It's still one of the most gorgeous French cars ever It's pity I don't have extra £50k in my pocket. Otherwise, it would be no brainer

Well I saw a classic today and I just wanna know how rare it is, it's a volvo 144 de luxe 1974 model
A quick look at the Volvo Owners Club website suggests they made 91,768 144s in 1974. Not sure on deluxe numbers though. The 144 was a very successful car for Volvo hence they made a lot! But with classics it’s not all about rarity, it’s about the stories they tell and how they make you feel! The 144 is a very cool car and there’s actually a big Volvo renaissance going on at the moment in Japan for classic Volvos. So you saw a good one!

@ajlark.......One of the most successful race cars ever. Won Le Mans in 1955, '56 and '57 and should have won a fourth consecutive Le Mans - but controversially, had to retire due to 'fuel issues'. [in those days, the fuel for all the race cars was supplied by the Le Mans organisers. Jaguar racing team claimed that there given 'contaminated' fuel - which led to carburettor problems, loss of power and ultimately retirement]. I also forgot to mention that in the 1957 edition of the Le Mans race - Jaguar came 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th! I don't know of any other racing marque that has achieved such dominance in this the most arduous and challenging of endurance events? [I stand to be corrected on this - I am well aware of the unbeatability of the pre-WWII Alfa Romeos, Mercedes Benz and Auto-Union cars]. But returning the D-type - a beautifully 'slippery' aerodynamic design by Malcolm Sayer, utilising a revolutionary monocoque construction, with equally ground-breaking all-round disc brakes [developed by Jaguar in conjunction with Dunlop] allied to the immensely powerful straight-6 XK engine, it's only real competitor during the period was the Mercedes-Benz - but in truth, they were no match for the for the D-type.
