All things gardening. Learning, succeeding, failing and trying again. Gardening started for me as a way to clear my mind, get in my zone and be outside. It’s been an ever changing form of art for me that let’s me touch on my need to plan, organize, rearrange but also help me to work on my patience and be more open to just going with the flow of things. Come join me as I document my gardening journey. We’ve got this.

I love your garden, it's beautiful. Those birds have been driving me crazy 😂 keep plucking out all my seeds and seedlings. You should grow sunflowers with your pumpkins. Arminian cucumbers grow well in the heat. You could try that.
Thank you! You are so right! I think I’ll grow sunflowers in that area I’m gonna put the pumpkins in! I also have some Armenian cucumbers started inside with my pumpkins. Just waiting for them to grow a little before putting them out because of the dang birds! Where are you gardening?
@Bleuthumbadventures I also have plants im starting inside because of those birds. They plucked out my watermelons and my pumpkins, so im starting them inside. I'm hoping that it's not too late for planting out watermelon.
No worries we all have areas that are not put together. We have to remember it is a working garden . To feed our family and friends. So there are going to be days. When its not organized. Happy gardening.
You are so right! It’s a growing and working garden! Thank you for that! Happy gardening!
Nice!! Endless supply!! Garlic butter... garlic honey... everything garlic! 😂
Garlic in EVERYTHING!

Nice work in the garden. Happy growing🌱✨️
Thank you! I can’t wait to see it all sprout!
Nice job!
Thank you!
I have them split if I leave them in too long. Especially after a big rain. They are getting ready to bolt. I pick them right away, trim off the bad part and use them immediately.
Were you able to save your transplant?
Thank you for the reminder! I just made a short for you showing the update! Spoiler alert! It was a success!
I just consider them chicken food!
All 7s
Damn, some little theif left with a full belly lol
All for nothing!
Beautiful, thanks for sharing not just your successes but also your failures. It makes me feel better about my own failures. I understand the mourning of plants. Your garden is beautiful.
Yes! It’s always nice to see both sides that way we can learn from it. Hopefully lol
Thank you for the tour..😊 You have a lot going on 🎉 Doing great for mid March 😁 Keep up the excellent work 👍 Many blessings to you and your family 🙏
Thank you! The heat is on its away as well of the exciting harvest! Happy growing!
@@Bleuthumbadventures you're welcome 😁 Yes the heat is on..All the seeds are Sprouting 🌱 Happy Growing friend 🙏
Not sure what to tell you about radishes. I just finished my 1st full year of gardening in Dallas, TX and they were my easiest crop. I tried a few different varieties. Some were grown in a raised bed and some in my GreenStalk. They are prolific and quick to maturity. I’m still trying to figure everything out. (That’s why I spend way too much time on RUclips 😂) I’ve got most of my Spring crops in the ground- tomatoes, peppers, herbs, peas, beans… Here’s hoping for a delicious bounty!
I will just keep trying the dang radishes until I figure it out lol
Just direct sow more peppers, you have time.
I’ve never direct sown peppers before but I think I’m gonna give it a try!
@@Bleuthumbadventures yeah you should, I’m in 8A Ga so I know you have a little more time than I do. My last frost date hasn’t even come yet.
Is there a reason why you don’t try to direct sow some pepper seeds directly in the garden where all of your tags are? I am going to do that this year in mid April and we have a short growing season here in Minnesota. I will cover the seeds with a plastic jug or water bottle to create a little greenhouse effect until we are consistently above 50 at night which is usually in mid-late May. I also have problems growing radishes. Maybe try French Breakfast if you haven’t. I have had the most success with those, but it usually goes cold to hot here too quickly and it seems radishes do not like hot weather like above 80. You have a lot of produce that looks very good so far. Thanks for the tour.
I have never direct down peppers before I have ever only started them indoors a couple months before putting them out. BUT I think I might just give it a try! What do I have to lose at this point lol. Man alive I can’t seem to get the hang of radishes so I will definitely give French breakfast a try! Thank you for joining! Happy growing!!
@@BleuthumbadventuresI figure they will germinate and grow faster outside in the bright sunshine than when we start them indoors under artificial light. Gardening is all about experimenting and learning new things as we go.
He is so sweet!
Thank you!
I love his commentary! Your harvest was beautiful!
Thank you! Harvest time is his favorite!
Lacy phacelia
Thank you!
Incredible use of the kid, I haven’t seen another person repurpose it like this before!
Thank you!
Love, love, love the idea of having a place for pollinators to drink from, while adding color and beauty at the same time. Off to the store to get some terra cotta pots and some colorful stones. Oh, and love the diy Olla!
Is a Phacelia
Thank you!
Have seen it, but don't know what it's called.
I like the neatness and order in your garden, each vegetable bed is separated and that's how I do it with my garden too. 😊
Thank you! I love the order and everything being organized it helps my mental. But strangely enough when I see people’s “chaotic” gardens it makes me crave the wildness of it a bit. Who knows maybe one day I will find a good balance lol
Haha actually I also like this, but just to look at it because it is a beautiful wild vegetable field, but for me tidiness is necessary.@@Bleuthumbadventures
Im wishing this was how mine look and i live in a tropical climate, the bugs have been eating everything as soon as they sprout😢. Im crying, onthe other hand my mango tress have flowered and i expect to be eating mangoes in 2 months.
Your vegetable garden looks gorgeous!
Thank you!
Bummer🥲
oh no! that's terrible! I tend to overdo it too.
I really hope I learned my lesson this time! Though there is so much beauty in the garden right now I still can’t help but to feel a bit defeated when I see my poor peppers lol
Another two weeks until I start my seeds in Upper Michigan. 🤔
I started my seeds indoors at the end of Dec/beginning of January. We’re already hitting the 80s outside here in the low desert of Az.
Lovely garden. Can you share how you make your labels? I have "label envy.' 😂
Sure!! I buy the white plastic labels at the Dollar tree. They come 10 in a pack and last a long time so they can be reused over and over. And then I use a label maker for the plant name and stick it on.
@@Bleuthumbadventures Ahh. I thought so but they look so great I wasn't sure. While I'm asking...what kind of label maker do you use?
Beautiful garden! :). Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!😊
I have the same type of beds but my garden is not as organised (I keep planting random things that ruin the symmetry). My season is just starting and I will try to follow your example and make it prettier. The red flowers you got on clearance (at around 6:20) are anemones, they have in-ground corms and sprout every spring.
Thank you for sharing that with me!!!! That is so fun and I will definitely find a good home for them to shine every spring!
So beautiful flowers
Thank you!
Very organisted and love;y.
Thank you!
Hello. New subscriber here from Zone 9a, South Georgia. Your garden is absolutely beautiful and green luscious 🌿🌱💚 I love it and you're giving me some new ideas for my main garden so thank you for sharing. Happy Gardening and Blessings 💐🙏🏾😊

What the best time to grow broccoli and cauliflower?
Depends on your growing zone but here in zone 9b I’ve had the best luck growing it in winter instead of spring. I started mine indoors in September and transplanted them outside in October.
Any tips to get your broccoli heads to form?? Those bed are nice and l like the idea of worm beds in each planting area.❤
This was my first time successfully getting them to head and what I did differently this time was to plant them earlier because it gets so hot so quick here in Phx Az, I fed them maybe 3x with fish emulsion and was consistent with my watering. They need the sun but don’t like the heat. Hope this helps some. Happy gardening!
Oh my 😊 your garden is miraculous 🎉🎉🎉 I subscribed to your channel 😀 Many blessings 🙏
