Love this!! Definitely going to have to get some stuff to start stamping. Im new around here and have been loving your videos. Ive noticed when you take the brush out of whatever bottle, you often kind of tilt the brush. Is there a reason for this? Also, when do the leaves syatt changing in the PNW? My husband are going on an Alaskan cruise in late September, leaving from Seattle and returning in Vancouver. Would love see some fall foliage!

Quick qu.. so you finished your last layer of dip powder, cured, base coated, cured, top coated, cured, buffed and then top coated again?

So if I was doing a gel polish(that comes in the bottles like nail polish) would I do Ultra bond Gel base Clear opulent Gel base Gel polish And than top coat?

Gorgeous mani! I have tried these liquids and I like then too and it's great that you can get them quickly if you run out unexpectedly. I must say I've fallen in love with Moondust Dips's odorless liquids They go on smoother and dries a bit faster too.

Hi Kate, I am a disabled and getting my nails dipped and a pedi is getting expensive. I am a newbie to dip. I went to cosmetology school back in the 80’s as a work study program in high school (Wow do I feel old). They only had lacquer back then. Can you recommend a good dip company to start with? I rather buy good quality. I’m already a Maniology subscriber - love their stamping stuff. Could you do a YT Vid from nail prep to finish. I did not see one. Did I miss it? I love your videos. You give such great tips and reviews. Thanks for all your hard work.

Okay, I love the dip liquids I use but, I am super sensitive to dip flu and use the full 3M respirator mask when dipping. I hate it! I will try these! I will report back on my experience. Thank you Kate!

After watching your video on the gel method, I never went back to dip liquids. I find the gel method work SO much better for me and my lifestyle. And Chandler is my favorite character from Friends. Still listening to his audiobook too.

Hi! I am interested in adding chrome to my salon dip nails. I LOVE the look of chrome but I hate spending $20 extra dollars to add it to my mani when it looks so simple to do. If I were to add the chrome on top of my salon manicure, do I still need to add a gel top coat beforehand??

Do you ever find gel method dip applied thicker than regular gel polish?

It’s been a while since I’ve watch your (or anyone else’s) nail videos, and this one just made me realize how much I missed them and why you are my fav! Your voice and the music are so soothing and there’s just something therapeutic about watching someone do a flawless dip set. Idk maybe I’m crazy but I love it. Thanks for all the fantastic content!

That mani is sooooo pretty! I absolutely love West Coast Dips, her dip products are top quality. She also has a really broad range of beautiful builder gel shades; I have a few but now I’m going back for the magnetics! Funny enough I just bought one of those horseshoe magnets yesterday.

I'm glad I saw this video, black sea glass was actually on my list of colors to get. Now I know to lay the nail into the product instead of dipping it.
