@MrJj604 Yeah, sharing trail locations is definitely a very touchy topic. I can understand your frustration. I feel okay sharing well known trails (on trail forks), but I don’t share locations of more sensitive areas just like PNW enduro. He has a very good video on why sharing locations is a bad idea. (He will share locations privately if you DM him). On top of those reasons, blowing up locations online will bring a lot of heat your way. Usually these places aren’t hard to find. Just get involved in the community and people will show you 🍻

@@baneeyboy Better for slower riding. Gives the bike more torque and makes it harder to stall. Not as good for fast riding as you have to shift a lot more, but it is still manageable

@@LucasG898 Just using a $20 Telesin chin mount off Amazon. It has held up for a couple years so far. Nothing special but gets the job done.

@@6at32off Most popular is the Dunlop AT81EX it has the best balance of traction, lifespan, and price. Also see a lot of IRC VE33S and JX8s. I’m really enjoying the IRC IX09 Gekkota with a soft mousse. It’s a super gummy tire with a soft sidewall. Okay life, I’ve almost squeezed 40 hours out of it. I haven’t tried any of the kenda tires.

@@Anatoli50Quite a noticeable difference, the bike has way more low end. I had a lot of blow by on my old piston, probably from all the hill climbing I was doing this year. Also did a medium compression head and new pipe, so that has to account for some of the power gains.

@ I also installed a medium compression head to clean up the stock low speed fueling. That worked , but then I experienced some preignition during high load, high rpm operation. I now mix 1/3 100 octane aviation gas with 2/3 91 octane pump gas. Problem solved, the bike runs great everywhere. I buy the aviation gas at the local airport. It costs $6 per gallon USD and 2 five gallon cans will last a long time riding 3-4 days a week. Many of us really appreciate the effort you put into your videos. McNutt can be a cruel mistress as you already know. I am always amazed at how you find some traction on those slippery rock faces. JX8? Stay safe and keep sharing your adventures!

@@Anatoli50 Might have to try that trick with the race/aviation fuel. Heard that today from someone, said it makes the bike run so good. Thanks man, I really enjoy making them so won’t stop anytime soon. I’m running an IX09 Gekkota, it’s basically a JX8 with a soft sidewall. Hooks up like velcro on those slippery Mcnutt rocks.

@@austinjh1210 Correct, that’s the easy way to do it. You need to buy a dongle to plug in its place so you don’t get an error code though. I think it was $30 USD. I went further and removed the whole system from my bike to save weight and plugged the oil hose.
