it's a shame, the old airport was much easier to deal with. This new one is way more than they need. Classic Chinese economic colonizing. They can never afford to pay off the debt, so China will put them into default and basically claim it as sovereign territory. Happens all the time. Look at ports ect. The old SR airport was too close to Angkor Wat and the historical site. The planes caused damage to the temples. PP new airport (To be open in next year) will be away from downtown too.
