I would only try this method with succulent 🌵🪴 but every species has its tricks .
You can use elite noble shungite to purify the water and it’s good grounding energy for the plant. You can also use tensor rings and electroculture
Its silly to tell people this as if its the be all and end all, some plants prefer bottom watering, others hate it, for plants that have more shallow roots, this wont do a thing, and it doesnt prevent overwatering since that's down to how often you water and not how much you give, best recommendation is to simply take your plant when the top 1 to 2 inches are dry, or more, and basically drown it, run water through it until its pouring out the drainage holes, let it drain and then put it back, if you got plants you cant move to a sink to do this, pour until you see water start coming out the bottom and stop when you do. Your advice is great, but please dont give it out like its the one true way to care for your plants because every home is different, i personally have never had pests besides green fly which is common where i live and easy to manage
You can also do a 20% water change, like with aquarium tanks.
Thanks
I put them in water all the time. It really depends on the plant type and honestly the air quality of the room the water sits in. Mold spores in the air will make rot much more likely. I actually found that the Friendship Plant rots much more often if I propagate it into soil directly. Letting that one root in water works best. And it’s too delicate to let it dry out and scab over the cut before putting it in water. It really depends.
Just make a moospole
Wow where to get t
not true- depend on the plant
I didn't know that great to know
Im foing to experiment and pit a drop of hydrogen peroxide into my cutring water, and fill as yiu have suggested. Thanks
Oh my goodness I did this exact thing today ! The other videos I watched didn’t mention this! I took them out of the water and will let them dry out. ! Thank you! 🙌🏻🥰
You are hardly to understand, sorry. Can Not understand what you say🥴
And always put 2% white vinegar in the water. Low pH water prevents the growth of fungus and bacteria, helping plant time to develop root systems.
“The biggest beef stake”
$90aud - that’s 5 times what I paid for my plant! I’ll find another way until I win lotto
So add the water to another plant to grow more roots?
Good advice. usually, a freshly cut cutting inserted in water will root without problems, but there is about a ten percent chance that it will rot. Doing this will reduce that chance, so it's just good insurance for success.
Sure , maybe you can try to put your head into the bottle and grow it! Good luck!
I feel like you the type of human to drug someone's drink at the bar.
Wow! THAT is very cool! Both the piece of equipment you’re using AND the floating plant shelf. But I’m not seeing any link taking me to the name of that combo tool, where I can get one and any promo codes you can give on top of it…oh, and directions, like step by step, ( plant floating shelf with wall trellis) on how we can make the things you make. 😁👍🏻 thanks!
Try using crushed shaving alum in water maybe 1/4th teaspoon per litre. Cheapest way to get through.
Could I place straight into dirt though?
Oh Lord, am so tired of all the rules
Thank you! I’ve done it in the past without problem, but the last few times the cuttings did exactly as you described. Now I know why!
I shove it into my aquarium with the fish lol
This advice does not apply to cannabis lovers 😅🤣😂👍
Thank you for your ideas
Do you sell or make these ?
Can it be done with rose cuttings
THANK U🎉🎉
Thank you i did not know this, will do this from now on!😊
This video is misleading. Dry your cutting if your planting direct into soil, the open wound will absorb the water. Remember different plants need different procedures.
Brilliant
Woooow great advice :) Sounds legit thank u sop much ❤
i dont propagate in water. i keep a box of live growing sphagnum and propagate in there. its my magic prop box. almost everything roots within days
I do this all the time. This never happens.
I work in propagation and we stick our clones directly into water to prevent disease and to prevent the plant from decaying
This is genius!!
Use lemon juice n auxin for rooting and airstones help for propagating
If I change the water I always leave a lil on the side and then add it back after.
Propagate beautiful planets by rooting them on water. Nonsense.
Planting since 1993. Never had my issues.
Couldnt you just do this with an inexpensive coco coir pole
Soil has more airflow than water, it’s better to switch from full hydroponic, to leca or rocks and in water, and slowly adapt it to take in more air. Add finer medium every now and then switching it gradually.
The roots are rotting from water adaptation and suffocation. Decrease the amount of water you have it in. Don’t fully submerge it
I don’t think it’s slowing the process, what makes you think roots put rooting hormone into the water? When those hormones are required inside of the plant to stimulate meristemic cells. Now what makes more sense is the PH of the water changing. most plants like a slightly more acidic PH which bacteria can give the water allowing smoother growth for roots. I recommend pouring out half the water and adding more fresh water to keep it steady as in PH levels, and not rotting the roots with bacteria.
👌⚘️✨️🙏🙏🙏
I honestly find it really ugly.... yeah pothos are trailing plants but they don't go up and down like that and they for sure as hell don't strangle other vines from the same plant. I don't think she'll be very happy like this. She would have looked much better as a hanging plant or clibing on a wall (orto make it renter freindly just a really big pole where it ain't the wrapping thing) preferably the wall or the big pole (like as long as the vines) since they preffer to climb and get bigger leaves that way but they also do fine hangging but the option in the video I find pretty ugly the tangled mess of the stems looks bad and the plant probably doesn't like it.
Woow❤Thanks❤
