Window guy here! The main thing that made me think they were the same house was that they both have a very similar structure from what we see, having specific small lights lit up along a staircase leading to an elevated foundation, they both have 1 particularly bright light source in a room to the left of the houses' entrances, and the top wedge of the roof is also rounded in the 2024 clip, suggesting that both houses may have straw roofing, regardless of additional flora. Though if you conclude that the house the Sherriff is in front of is in Oakfield rather than Bowerstone due to the sign, door, and Sherrif, wouldn't that make it more likely to be the same house since it'd be in the same region? Another thing possibly worth noting, but hard to tell, is that it looks like there may be the silhouette of a person in front of the house in the 2023 clip, though if that is a person, it could easily just be a bandit and not the Sherriff. I'm not entirely sold on that blurry shape being a person though. It also looks like there are plants creeping up the left wall of the house in the 2023 clip, and it's green, but the blur makes it impossible to know for sure, though there does seem to be a tuft of greenery at the top of the roof where the Balverine lands. Regarding the 2023 window, I noticed when looking at the 2024 clip in 4k, the area of the house lit up above the Sherriff's head, has a thick vertical line going up towards the roof that the 2023 clip also has above the window. Not much else though, the windows are pretty damning, unless they reused and combined different patterns outside of a given region. Unfortunately, in the 2023 clip we can only see the pattern for the top window, and in the 2024 clip we can only see the pattern for the bottom window, leaving us dry on window breadcrumbs. But let's hold onto future window investigations for when we get the proper release, and both hope that I'm not jinxing it by saying that. All in all though, great update, and it's exciting to hear more possible news about the game. It's been a long 7 months since the 2024 trailer, and I'm just hoping for the chance of a Holiday 2025 release.

Fable's not on the developer direct unfortunately

A lot of insiders have confirmed that Fable is ready for 2025. If GTA 6 releases, Fable will be a December release. If GTA 6 delays then Fable is ready for Fall 2025 apparently. Hoping to see more content after it's showed at the June showcase from you!

Guess I'm Team Reaver, because I think it sounds nothing like Lena and nothing like Amelia. Wouldn't be surprised if it's an establlished voice actor like Alix Wilton Regan.

Fable is a franchise near and dear to my heart, with Fable 2 being my favorite game of all time. I remember seeing the article saying Lionhead closed it's doors, and it crushed 11 year old me's soul. I am so excited to see the Fable subreddit so active and small creators making analysis videos like these. I'm so excited for this reboot and the reintegration it has created in the Fable community

What if now hear me as shown in the video the windows are made up of two distinct patterns. A rombus has 4 sides a hexagon 6 however it's elongated hexagon which has 4 shorter sides and 2 longer ones, 4x2=8. Then we do 8×4 (the sides of the rombus) we get 32 -6(the total sides of the elongated hexagon) we get 26. However there's more if we do the points of the rombus x the sides of the rombus 4x4 we get 16, so far we have two numbers 16 and 26. Now the obvious number staring at us right in the face we add the sides of the rombus and the elongated hexagon 4+6 =10. This gives us three numbers 10 16 26 now we have to find the correct sequence the rombus is shown first therefore 16, then both are shown at the same time therefore 10 is next so therefore the final number is 26. 16.10.26 Fable 4 will release on the 16th of October 2026 You're welcome.

Thanks for the video, any Fable content is worthwhile content at this point haha. I won't expect the ???? game in the Developer_Direct to be Fable, due to them mentioning it's a brand new game. I think Fable will be the big featured game in the June Direct, just like Black Ops 6 last year and Starfield the year before. Looking forward to this!

I would say that "witcher 3 style combat" is basically a more modern description of fable 2 and 3 combat! Fable 2s combat was VERY fluid in design as to how you could switch between all 3 mechanics. It's in Witcher 3 where they were "perfected" so to say. The "idea" of executing melee moves, moving in for a finisher on a low health enemy, blasting another with magic, sniping a long range lagger, all in the same few seconds.. that IS fable combat. To be proficient with each style as to connect each of them so fluidly is reminiscent of both Heroes and Witchers :D As to the voice, i definitely don't think it's Amelia Tyler, but i also can't be sure that it's not Lena Headly. So i gotta go team 3 with no obvious choice. But as someone who has seen Amelia Tylers brilliant improv on live play ttrpg with Tablestorys Nocturne, i would LOVE nothing more than to see her in Fable

Okay I'm a bit late to the video but I've been binging Fable stuff for a few days and stumbled on it. Great breakdown. I've watched the trailer several times now and there's still loads I've missed. You're dead wrong on Lena though. It's definitely not her. The first time I watched I knew the voice and it was bugging me because I couldn't think who. Looked through a lot of cast lists for TV and movies, checked every episode of Dr Who because it was the most likely place to find a well known British voice actor. In the end I still can't say for sure, however I have a strong feeling it's actually Amelia Tyler who voices the narrator in Baldur's Gate 3. In the trailer the rival hero speaks in two distinct tones. The slightly more optimistic "I'm going to fix it, this place", and the more menacing "and no one's going to stand in my way". If you listen to her in anything, these are the two most common voices she uses. Even in BG3, she switches between these two a lot. I mean, listen to the "Power. Authority" line she says a lot in that and tell me it doesn't sound like the menacing line.

What about the weapons system I would love to see a merger of 2 and 3 maybe add an actual crafting system like Skyrim but u can buy stones from the stone cutter, maybe become a stone cutter with crafting and resource gathering plus blacksmithing use the stones in crafting weapons or adding sockets to existing gear, better quality crafted gear at the high ranks in blacksmithing could allow more stones or sockets and the stones them selves get stronger with use like in F3 but removed and resocketed elsewhere like F2 but through the smithing system not just a removal tool although that would allow swapping on the fly in the field which would be sweet, craftable from special rare materials for a lil balance maybe they break every so often, but obviously wealth potential could be through the roof at high tear crafting 8 feel like I could go on and on with this, someone give me a career in brainstorming this stuff and let's make some money

A few things I would love: - much better character customisation, also your characters partner (I feel it’s annoying that your partner wears the same clothes only). - building customisation, being able to alter exterior as well as interior design on your properties would be awesome. - less loading screens, I don’t want to watch a screen load because I crossed from old town to market. These are less to do with the storyline but they could really improve the game
