Love ❤️
Awesome 🤩 ❤
Thanks 🤗
Gonna have to rejet that carb with a 90 or 92 main jet. So, that it doesn’t run lean. Also, I wouldn’t be using a 21V battery; those scooters are designed to use 12V only.
Thanks I know this already. Just doing what I want on my channel.
He’s ENORMOUS!!! ❤
What model scooter is that?
I could be wrong but I think those bottom mount 2 strokes are hard to find. I would rebuild it with a big bore kit while it's out.
Hey man do you have a Instagram or Facebook or something I could msg you on?
There is no from 50cc to 100cc the max is 88cc 52mm piston 50mm is 80cc and 47mm is 71cc
You really need to start taking way better care and maintain your vehicles. That scooter is filthy dirty and I suspect you have never changed the oil. You will find that your vehicles, will run and perform way better, if you maintain them on a regular basis. And remember you have an economy vehicle that is not designed to run more then maybe 45 to 50 at best. you are not going to win any races with that thing.
Suspect all you want buddy. Your opinion is not valued here.
Bigger isn't always better. You increasing the volume but lowering the velocity of the air intake. Its a 50cc engine. The sucking and blowing need to match in proportion.
Good point that is why I’m running a 52MM big bore kit and running the stock carburetor.
I have a 50cc stock heads and carb, pair delete, did the rollers where there rollers slide and dremel out for rollers to slide further out, took three rollers out, installed an 80cc bottom end, raised the needle with a small washer, removed my air box everything to the carb, dremel out intake and outake on the heads, not sure if I missed anything else but, I did get 44mph on my ped. That’s with the speedometer app on my phone, I never use the speedometer on the mopeds. Is there anything else anyone could help out on these completely free mods? Please no be same for leave a comment. Gladly appreciate it, Alohaz 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
@JonahNAloha I get 50mm out of my 52mm build stock cam
All the fish were released after the making of this video!
i have the exact same carb as yours any by chance you could DM me about the wiring solution how to get it start it?.. I'm very new to all this

@floridaavidiy4213; i've sent you message.
Hey bro i'd send you another message.
Would the different rocker arms prevent the scooter from starting up?
Use the specific rockers that match your valve length I believe don’t quote me but there’s rocker arms for 64MM valves and rocker arms for 69mm valves.
@floridaavidiy4213 man can u plz help me distinguish which ones which cause I did everything right and I feel as if this is where the problems lies cause my scooter doesn't want to turn over and all I did was the conversion nothing electrical
@@floridaavidiy4213 would it prevent it from starting?
The kit I have is for 69 mm valve
Not sure if that helps any
Fixing the 2stroke may cost more money but you can get more power from the 2stroke
a gy6 is reliable as hell if ur doing long trips
The outside diameter may be that big.. NO WAY a 50cc or even a 100cc is gonna run on a 34mm carb.. my 80cc barely runs on a 24mm.. stock is 18mm on intake side(inside diameter)
But mine did run even did 50mph.
Yes you are correct it doesn’t not run happy or healthy like this but i was curious and I had it running very well doing 45mph consistently
@@floridaavidiy4213 mine hit just over 50mph today on its 1st run of any distance to get top speed.. probably a little more in it, I gotta swap my contra spring for a weaker 1.. I've got the 2k red spring on it now.. 6g weights in a glixal variator
@@JoesRcAdventures yeah mine isn’t as pretty as your project but she takes me from point A to B i think I’m running 8 gram weights with stock but brand new CVT kit and with a big bore kit. So she’s not to upset for installing a 24 mm carb after trying the huge one
I got an old 50cc that has 42 mm on it it's fast to only thing is I'm not getting much mpg with the set up but I have all top end realistically I haven't hit my top end yet don't have a open run to hold open to get past 67 mph even though I can
Ive been doing this for more than a minute. I used to race progas Harley Davidsons. I have flowed the head. Dual plug head. Chopped down 4 valve head. Hoka gears and the 24mm mikuni carb. Check out my acceleration. ruclips.net/video/9YiQdYtYHAA/видео.html
Wow nice teardown
Will a open jet carburator work good on my tao tao pony
By open jet what do you mean?
A higher Quality one but works with stock setup of bike
That I couldn’t tell you brother. I would say try and find out, trial and error
PWK carb to big the most on a 50cc 20mm carb.
keep the head all ways good spare put a cable tie on the chain and pull it.
The 21mm pwk put in a 35 air and a 95main may have to lift needle up one with a 50mm bore with sports exhaust kn air filter.
Where do you find pwk main jets smaller then 100??
@masonnuttall1869 rolling wrench check his channel about jets
I've seen a few of his vut never got supper in depth! I just got a 21mm pwk on my 100cc bbk gy650 tons of other mods too. I get great power but when I come to stops even when just tuning I die out and have trouble getting it started again (too much fuel I'm assuming ) I have a 100main 32 piolet (live in pa) never had many issues with cvk tuning on bbks but this one has me stumped to get it running right !
Is it normaal to have oil in your head
It is exactly normal 👍🏽
Why would the gas mix with the oil - thanks
Cute🙂
Fantastic! I’m glad you were able to catch a fish, and then eat it with your daughter. Great memories! You’re a good father 👍
i wish my spot was like this, i’d have dinner for days
Red Ear Sunfish (Shellcracker) Nice video and new sub 💪🏿
I just finished a 171 cc big bore kit...A 13. High life racing cam. Nibbi 24 mm slide valve Carb With a power valve. Orange ignition coil. Large dia. Pro - tuned racing .Pipe No muffler...this is in Northern California Stock gearing...58 mph
Bet you used a Impact wrench to put the plug in same on you.
Are you saying I stripped the plug with an impact? I honestly probably over tighten it with my hand strength when I first got the bike. Not knowing how EASY it is to strip these cylinder heads … Learn my lesson although I would still run it in with an impact at the lowest setting if it has that option. I do TORQUE almost everything after running bolts/nuts in . Thanks for watching sir, stay blessed ✊🏾 see you next time hopefully :)
Nice carburetor that's mikuni or nibi flatslide racing good carburetor with a flat slide
And why don't you get the a9 camshaft open up the valves a little bit more give it a little bit more performance especially using a bigger size carburetor then you got the best of all worlds
21 mm is perfect f o r 52 mm 90cc
It's good that you know that and just bring it down to like a 24 mm carburetor is all you need
The reason why with your air fuel mixture is your primary jet is probably too big your main Jets probably too big and that carburetor is way too big for that size CC that's a 90cc now that carburetor is way too big
Use aviation form-a-gasket from the company permatex give their gaskets a little extra insurance even the metal cylinder head gasket but I guess it's a bit too late you're video is over a day old keep up the good work
Hello sir nice video from philipine
Nothing beats fresh fish!!! Good stuff, new subscriber here 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Thanks brother ✊🏾✊🏾 going fishing after work today 👌🏽👌🏽
But good vid overall
Please don’t use power tools on engines when tightening that’s rule 1 for mechanics
Thanks, I Appreciate the input :) Although my drill was set to a comfortable Low setting Just to snug them down. Thankfully I have never had an issue. But yes it is always good to practice the proper way of doing things. With Time Ive gained trust in my techniques .
You need to put aftermarket 89 camshaft and cylinder head you got too much carburetor for a stock cylinder head it's not going to help you out that much at all
Just Google it and you get the proper throttle cable that will connect to your handlebar on one end and then the other end is different and it will connect to that flat slide carburetor out of doing this for a long time don't try to grind anyting it's not going to work
Hey Steve I appreciate your comment, although I know it’s not the right way but I want to show that you can still do it and make it work. I used a grinder from the shop where I work. Just shaved the end of the cable which is made out of led and was supper easy todo And In the next video you will see that I’ll have no issues with that throttle cable :)
That's a good idea but you need to get graded cylinder head with bigger valves and a9 camshaft it take on all that air in fuel I think it's going to be too much for that little teeny and taken exhaust valve cuz I pulled a cylinder head off and changed it and put a performance cylinder head on it bigger and taken exhaust valve is what you going to need to do that's too much carburetors not going to make much difference
Your right about that :) So Next step is a big bore kit but after. I know scooters do 35-45mph with stock carb on 50cc and that’s what I want. I want 45mph out of this engine which would be perfect for now. Fact is my stock carb only did 32-34mph And this huge carb lights up faster and does 36-42mph !! So I believe I can get 45 out of this engine without big bore kits. In the future I will be hunting down that 55-60mph. So I will need everyone’s input to achieve that, thanks again Steve for your input 🙌🔥
