Women in Power: Gynocracy and Gynophobia - Rudolf J. Siebert
The United States of America is on the verge of electing its first woman president, the sitting Vice President Kamala Harris, who is here in Kalamazoo today. As we record this, we are less than two weeks from the election, so we do not yet know if this will happen. However, we do know that this monumental achievement for women, and for the country, whether it is symbolic or substantive, has caused a lot of fear and indignation among those who are not prepared to accept a woman as Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. For them, the election of a woman to this position is a sign of social decline, that the natural order of society has been upturned, and that we are movin...

Just War Theory: Past, Present, and Future - Rudolf J. Siebert

As a species, Homo Sapiens have gone to war with other Homo Sapiens even before they were Homo Sapiens. War, and other forms of systematic violence, appear to us as being an integral part of the human condition. No matter what historical epoch we look at, we find war. And in some ages, periods of peace seem to be the exception. War is brutal, barbaric, and bloody. It not only destroys infrastru...

Weltschmerz: A Discourse on a Global Condition - Institute for Critical Social Theory - 1/23/2022
I was a student of Dr. Siebert at W.M.U. in 1968/9. I am so glad to have found these lectures. As an agent of social change I so appreciate the knowledge and wisdom of this man! Dr. Siebert is a true hero and has affected my world view since I met him! Thank you for this channel!
Amazing conversation with extremely relevant and vital historical analysis! Thank you ❤️
We're glad you found it interesting and helpful. Cheers.
My personal understanding of this question is, that Anti-Semitism is the dislike of Jews and the Jewish culture throughout the Jewish diaspora, Samitic-speaking peoples do not only have to be Jews and it is not the rejection of Zionism. Also, I believe the Romans had ongoing conflicts with all the peoples they oppressed, the Jewish people at the time were no exception, they didn't fall for the Roman trick of cultural integration and the Romans had a problem with this.
What is a Semite?
A language speaker of a semitic language, for 2000 years jews were the only speakers of this language group in europe. Its a stab at our unrelated language relative to Europe, also the language of the old testament.
It was 19 century term to describe speakers of semitic languages. It is an outdated term.
There is something which doesn't make sense, Hitlers' rise to power wouldn't have been possible without substantial conservative (Deutsche Christen and the Deutschen Evangelische Kirche (DEK)) Christian support!! If the Wehrmacht was purportedly pagan, why on God's earth was every soldier in the Wehrmacht standard issued a belt buckle bearing "Gott mit uns" - "God with us"??? God and Christianity was therefore ostentatiously institutionalized and incorporated in the Nazi Murder Machine. The overwhelming majority of Christians were fascists. They even supported the National Socialist Worker Party election 1933 with Sunday church banners bearing the catchy slogan "Nur ein guter Christ ist Nationalsozialist" - "Only a good Christian is a National Socialist". Jehovas Witnesses and all the other pacifist Christians - derogatively coined "Bibelforscher" were interned in concentration camps, bearing purple triangles. This is apologetic bile.
I think you missed the point. Of course the vast majority of Christians, both Catholic and Protestant, in the Third Reich cooperated with or enthusiastically supported the Nazi regime. That has never been in dispute. What the video was discussing was those Christians who did resist and also found themselves to be the enemies of the regime.
Thank you for your reply @@InstituteCST If the the point was made that those Christians who resisted were either murdered, forced into exile or incarcerated, then the question remains unanswered whether to why both Christian institutions have not been made accountable for their contribution to the Nazis rise to power and immanent consequences, i.e. the war and genocide, given that not only the majority of Christians but also their respective institutions were instrumentally involved. The proof is clear as to how the Vatican and Protestant dignitaries embraced and enforced the Nazi ideology - especially with regarding it as a Christian bulwark against soviet paganism and Judaism.
Having taken 2 classes from Dr. Seibert in 1968 at W.M.U. I consider him the most intelligent and humble man I have ever met!!
There was far more collaboration than resistance.
Genuinely, "critical theory" is the most ignorant and idiotic drivel ever concocted by imbeciles pretending to be scholars. Any marxist derivative lens or ideology is inherently corrupt and moronic. 🤣🤣

Dear Rudi and Justin, thank you so much for this great conversation. I will share it with family and coworkers from EU, US and Russia
What an absolute waste of a brain
Sounds like right wing authoritarian people are traumatized by their upbringing and they take out that anger on others by trying to control them since controlling others not only makes the authoritarian feel safe but it also serves as a balm for their wounded ego.
I am the 68th viewer!
Christianity is a Jewish religion 😂leftist r ignorant 💯
EWTN a right wing organisation??? Affiliated with FOX News? My goodness what a marxist viewpoint. Talk congregation numbers and empty seminaries as the outcome of nouveau theologian . And catholic skepticism. Francis is a communist. Rattzinger did resist the nazis. The Lutherans co operated with the Nazis , the catholics condemned them.
One need not be a Marxist to point out that Raymond Arroyo works for both EWTN and Fox News. Would you like to challenge that fact? Consult your Google machine.
