How much money would you recommend saving?
My airline provided food/hotel for us so we didn’t need to worry TOO much about spending. For someone who is low maintenance, doesnt order take out, and doesn’t go out every week you’ll probably be fine with something around $500. Hope that helps!

Seniority is based on different things for different airlines I believe. Mine is based on your age

Did you and everyone have your own room ?
I went to training while cvd 19 precautions were still being observed so thankfully I was able to have my own room. those precautions might have been lifted by now :) hope this helps

How do you get to pick your bases?! Is it possible to get your first choice?
Hey Hannah! When you get to training the class is given a list of b are options and you will rank them in order of preference. It is possible to get your first choice, it all depends on your seniority within your class and how many people want the same base :)
Are you able to go home on weekends ?
being a flight attendant means not having a set schedule, especially being a newbie 😅 like me. being higher up in seniority helps manipulate your schedule to what you would like to work for some airlines who use that system. so basically I get lucky sometimes! 🤗 hope this answers your question

thank you so much kimberly!! 🥰🥳 for my training we did not have roommates, it was a bit after cvd 19 went down a bit so some restrictions were still kept
During AA ditching drill what kind of wet suit is allowed and not allowed. I know the pool will be cold so can we wear a long pant wet suit and long sleeve wet suit
yes some type of pants and t shirt that can get wet is recommended. i wore a sports bra and a t shirt for mine 🤗

when I was in training we had no roommates (january 2022), it may be different now!
Is training paid ?
my airline does not pay for training, but some airlines do pay for training
