2005 Honda Accord Auxiliary Port Install (aux port install)
Просмотров 181 тыс.9 лет назад
Hi everyone, just wanted to get a video out there on installing a new aftermarket auxiliary port to a 2005 Honda Accord. In the video I show how to remove the center console because since I wanted to have the auxiliary port connection inside the center compartment and not underneath the radio. I didn't show every single step but hope it helps out. Work good for me and wanted to stay away from t...
iPad 2 Screen/Digitizer replacement
Просмотров 779 лет назад
Recently my iPad screen broke, decided to replace it, there are several videos online but wanted to make sure you understood the importance of heating it up properly and what happens when someone like me does it. Specially since it was my first time and rather not pay 100 bucks to replace it. It was pretty simple once I removed all broken pieces. Getting sides nice and hot will do the job well....
Artic Cooling Twin Turbo Pro on Evga 250GTS Install
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.13 лет назад
This is a short video I put together of how I installed the Accelero Twin Turbo PRO heat sink with quiet fans onto my old EVGA 250 GTS. I was starting to get some lag and higher temperatures. This one did wonders and it is so quiet. I was tired of the turbine sound it would make when it was running hot.
Xbox 360 fan noise with GOW
Просмотров 6 тыс.13 лет назад
Decided to buy a 360 to play with friends and keep getting fan noise problem. Returned it twice to that major retail store and 3rd one makes it a little less but its there. It only happens with GOW game disk. Be ware of problem, it has to be the DVD game, so i thought. I got game disk replaced and it didn't make that noise but then it started again. Its a platinum hit that comes in Gear Of War ...

This is just a demo of chapter 1 and 2 Kung-Fu Live comics, this game gets you into the action by having you actually in the game playing. I tried the demo and it's a lot of fun, I like how you can be added to the comic using the PlayStation Eye, it's up to you to make the proper gestures to make the comic come to life. So how did I do? You have a better one, please post video response, would r...

Have someone hold the camera will you. Impossible to follow with such close and narrow angles.
RIP headphone users toward the end.
Does this work for the ex model because I'm having trouble switching over to the cd

So if u don't want xm then u don't need to buy both correct anybody
I have a honda accord 2007 and I want to install an aux in it but I don't know how.
This video is a big help bit where to hook the connection piece at
my board that the antenna clips onto does not have a good connection how can I get that part? (the board )
I have a ipad2 not working on network sim card
I agree with some of the comments. You didn't show to plug in the wires. Next time slow down and be more spacific.
Mine is just loose but I keep a desk fan blowing on it until I can fix it
@The1matic Film Clips yeah I figured. Unfortunately though, the Xbox 360 disc drive is stuck open so I can't use the Xbox anymore
thanks
Bruh you skipped mad shit
Where did you buy the aux kit from?
how did you connect the plugs?
bro this sucked u skipped mad shit
Trying to take the connector out to plug in the car audio interface
Can't figure out how to unplug it
Like how you were explaining around 11:38
Any static/feedback/ground loop noise with this set up? I've been reading reviews on some of the other (cheaper) aux adapters and several people have feedback noise that increases with engine RPMs.
Appreciate the video but you didn't "show" or demonstrate where to plug in inputs.
How do you remove that plug in for xm?
did you ever figure out how to remove it I'm still struggling smh.
Dajaih B. Same here
Had to pull out the radio. There are videos on how to remove the radio. I just half pulled it out an unplugged. I didn't have to completely remove the radio o
Just installed mine but beware it's not as easy as it seems not hard either but def will take a little longer than expected, took me over an hour... nonetheless it's worth it, and you don't have to do the part of taking the console off to mount the aux input, you can put the aux through plenty of places I put mine under the part that says not an ashtray
I have a 2005 accord ex-v6 with navigation system, would this work?
So did you ever install it??
Where did you buy the cord to plug the aux port to the transmitter
I have a 2005 Acura TL will this work for my car?
Hawar Mustafa : aux box says it's for 2003 to 2012 hondas and acura's, Acura is very similar to accord so should work but check online for manual and find out if it does fit your car correctly
i have a 2006 accord, and thanks to this video, i was successfully able to install it, and it sounds great. i noticed that it the steering wheel and radio skip buttons don't have control over the phone, meaning i can't skip songs without having my phone in my hand. did you have that problem? and were you able to fix it?
Garrett Vance : it's just an aux adapter not a control iPod adapter. So all you do is place your phone at full volume and just adjust your stereo volume. You can't change songs or skip because the only thing it does is output the sound to thru the speakers. It is does not control the phone. Sorry but sounds is good.
So I can't just plug the cord itself into the back of the radio?
No
I just finished installing this in my 07 ACCORD thanks to you. Only difference is I ran the aux port through the area under the radio which is fine for now but I might change it to where you put yours in the future.
chaseman94 - glad all is working fine and it's to your own taste. Thank you for watching glad it helped.
Hi thanks for the nice video, could please tell me if the car controls work on the audio when you playing songs on your phone? for example, if you press the next button on the radio does it change to the next song on the phone. thanks
අෂාන් ගුණතිලක - sorry for late reply but no they don't work like that. It's not an actual iPod adapter just auxiliary port adapter, you can just control volume
Oh okay Got it, Thanks for the reply, I'm getting all my parts today. So i might put it together tomorrow. I went ahead and bought a Anker Bluetooth receiver that connects to the auxiliary input. Lets see how it goes. By the way I don't know if you still have the same car but, does it still work without any issues? thanks
අෂාන් ගුණතිලක : hey great is helps, yes it still works great, I use it everyday. The Bluetooth will be a nice addition. Thumbs up on video would be appreciated.
Thumbs up is already done
Do you need to remove the center console to install the aux there? Or can I just drill the hole in the front panel?
anthony Ortiz - no need to remove the center console, I did it to clean it and run wire.
Are the adapters for the XM Radio included with the Aux Input or do you have to buy them separately?
Hi, the cable comes with the aux adapter, it just once you remove it from the back you plug one side into radio and plug you removed to other side of adapter cable.
Okay thanks for the clarification
NavasTech l
This video was a huge help, just wanted to say thanks for posting it. Just finished an '05 Accord, manual transmission, used the parts you suggested. Perfect. The only thing I did differently was placed the input jack in the dash to the right of the stereo... Really good of you to take the time to put this out there!
Hi Kevin, thanks for watching and glad it helped. Would appreciate a like and subscribe.
By chow did u get ur ashtray out??
+BananaBoat629 how*
Are those all the required components for the aux adapter in your description?
Yes, all components that are needed to connect stereo are there in description. Tools are not.
Thanks for the video! So I see when you're switching betwen the different modes (AM/FM, CD, XM, and the new aux), the sound seems lower when you go to the AUX. Is that sound right? ... that when you switch to use the AUX you have to turn the volume up some more? Does bass and other sound-tuning quality come through well via aux connection?
Hi thanks for watching and it all should sounds good. Sound is pretty good, it's same or better than XM quality sound. I usually watch videos on 15 to 20 volume depending on audio quality the video was recorded on. I'm happy with it and still working well.
hey navashtech, I'm just wondering how many pins do the wire that goes connected to the radio it has, so I can buy mines?!!!!
It all comes in the installation kit. All you need is there except for the AUX cable and 3.5 mm cable which I've placed link on the video description
I have it
where did you buy this from, and does it work for a radio with xm?
Hi Meshia, yes it works with XM factory radio mine has XM. I got all parts from Amazon. See description of video for more info.
missed how to hookup. just show how to take dash apart
Hi Navas, just to clarify, I have an Accord with XM and I saw both the ports you did, do I remove the smaller one to the left? (white one, not blue) then plug in a splitter then the adapter? Do the links you provided come with the splitter?
Yes the smaller one which is white male connector. Once you remove the plug from the back of the stereo then plug in adapter splitter supplied with aux adapter, which you can see at 1:42 minutes of video. Then Male adapter to back of stereo, then on the female side you plug the male connector you removed from stereo. I pushed all together which you can see I did at 11:50 minutes of video. All parts you need I listed on description. The only thing hat is not listed are the tools that you might need to take stuff apart and drill, etc.
NavasTech Wow man, thank you so much for your help and advice. I actually had some trouble getting the white plug into the weirdly positioned port but I got it, everything works and installed perfectly. Thank you so much again!
Hey, it seemed in the video the auxiliary was a bit more quiet than on fm/cd. Was that a result of the ipad not having its volume up? or is the sound output not as much on the installed auxiliary?
Hi thanks for watching the sound is not as much as regular radio. You have to raise your volume on your device to max volume. Then just adjust it on the radio volume control. I keep it at 15 to 16 out of 30 bars so half way is good for me. It really depends on the audio of the video and or the song. If it's recorded with good sound it sounds good and so on. There are other aid adapter out there but for the price it's pretty darn good. Thanks for watching again.
Is the sound quality good?
Hi , the sound is really good. Way better than FM transmitters for sure.
Thanks. Hey, why did you remove the whole center console? You could have just removed the one screw from the power outlet in the console to remove that, and remove the cup holder. I was trying to remove the whole center console, following the video, and I couldn't get the damned thing out. I finally just looked at it and saw I could make it work without removing it from the car.
+Shanus O'Harmon - just wanted to clean and learn how to remove it thanks for watching
is there a way to have the cable out with put drilling a hole
Hi sorry I didn't understand your question. If you are asking if you can just have the cable come off the side, yes you can on the right side on front storage unit if you want. Otherwise you will need to drill holes.
That's my quetion thank you
I just installed mine and it is not loud at all. And I'm not talking just not loud, I mean I could have a conversation with someone in my car. My stereo volume is all the way up and my iPod volume is all the way up. Can anyone think of any reasons why?
Hi sorry to hear it is not loud. It does get loud depending on what audio you are playing. But it sound like there is a false connection with audio cable to adapter or something. I recommend always checking audio before placing all back together. There are instances that you might even get a faulty unit. Just make sure all the connections to stereo are tight too. Good luck, sorry to hear ur having problems.
Thanks for the video. Today I installed in 2007 Accord SE with CD changer. I used exactly the same parts but I did not remove the center console. I removed 12V power socket in the center console and installed auxiliary input adapter next the power socket, just like you did.
Good job, glad video helped out a little. Thanks for your great comments
Do you think I will be able to install it in the same area, but inside of a 2004 Honda Accord instead?
Thanks for watching, yes should work for your car, adapter says its for 2003 to 2012 accord
what a great descriptive video man! thanks. I'm just a girl with a honda euro and want to play my own music and now I can visually see what needs to be done to my car in order for that to happen, but I won't be doing it personally haha. Happy new year :)
Thanks for watching, thank you for comment hope all went well.
Hi there, thank you for this video - I'm so excited about doing this! I live in Australia though and we have a right hand drive 2004 Accord Euro - do you think there will be any difference?
Hi thanks for watching 😀, as long as stereo is 12 Volts and connectors are identical all should work fine. Verify with manufacturer.
It works for both CD changer and No CD changer cars ?
Should work for both I have the internal CD changer and it works good. Thanks for watching, 👍
Great job! Thanks for the video!
Thanks
Where can I buy one in store ? I don't wish to order unless I necessarily have to. Help me out someone lol
Hi: thanks for watching, sorry did some quick research and could not find local stores that carry it. There might be a chance that some car stereo installation areas might have them but you will need to call. Some will surely tell you they will order it for you but you will pay their premium. Better to find best deal online and buy. Good luck and thanks for watching.
Walmart and Fry's Electronics has some in stock + Fry's also does installs :)
