I was in high school when her album came out with this song and her version of "Gimme Shelter." (Her version kicks the Stones' collective asses!) I was already familiar with her voice from her back up work with Carole King and countless others. Also her version of the Leon Russell song "A Song for You" is transcendent!

Wish i didnt lose my cassette of this album, it was my only cassette tape i found it in my first truck a couple years ago, stereo in the truck just spat the cassettes back out so i never got to listen to the tape until i had lost the truck, but i kept thr cassette and my grandpa gave me his old radio so i played the cassette while i was going through a huge change in life to living on my own, i played that album probably 3 times every night until the cassette disapeared so i downloaded the album on my phone

Everyone keeps putting this as a Home Free song. It isnt. It's a Lee Greenwood song. He released it in 1984. When he decided tp update it he asked both the The US Air Force Band and Home Free to join him.
