Steadfast (Age of Indiscretion) - P.W. Song (1989)
I saw The Weirdos in Reseda in 1989 with the Stains when I was a teenager. My buddies and I blazed a joint in the parking lot and went in when the openers Positive Approach was on. It was fun slamming in the pit. My buddy bought the tickets and was a big Weirdos fan. After that show, I was too.
Im still here brother while I am you are love you forever .
Is there a page somewhere with all the bands music that Gene was involved in?
thank you
My most favorite song ever. Speaks to me.
A great tune that really shoulda ended up on one of those Weird World best of comps. RIP Dix, your band taught us so much.
This was my wedding song
Never really read the lyrics before. This song is great
I remember the first time I heard this song. Me and Gene on a roof top in Georgetown. Drunk as hell. Probably 1988 or so. We were brothers after that night. For good or bad.
Maybe I’m gun shy!
I miss you buddy and I can almost listen to your music again without losing my shit. Almost. My amazing asshole brother. see ya soon.
Fuckin love the Weirdos!!👺
with lyrics? I don't see em. Nice tune, though. It's no Shining Silver Light, but it's good.
Lyrics are in the description.

Converting to gear drive for the cams is better than the silent chain drives with their PLASTIC tensioners. But, this video, did not show the pinion shaft run out. TC flywheels are only pressed together, the crank pin is not welded to hold the both halves of the flywheel together and they are notorious for coming out of true, meaning that the pinion shaft run out of 0.001" or less, will soon, increase as the flywheels twist and makes the "wobble" on the pinion shaft increase more and more and when it exceeds 0.003" damage begins to all the engine, shaft bushings, bearings, cam shaft bearings, oil pump rotor damage, and the GEAR DRIVES will be damaged and the "wobble", just keeps accelerating until there is IMMEDIATE CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. Before installing GEAR DRIVES for the two cams, the engine should be torn apart, and the stock flywheel taken to a performance specialty shop, to disassemble the flywheel and to check the connecting rods for wear and re-honed them, and then balance the flywheel components, re-assemble the flywheel and have it dynamically trued on a truing stand, and have the output shaft and pinion shaft run out set at 0.001" or less of run out, and then TIG-weld the crank pin to the flywheel halves to ensure no more movement of the flywheel. Only then should one attempt to try to install GEAR DRIVES for the cams. This video at the very least should have show a dial indicator on the pinion shaft to see what the run out specs where before even going to GEAR DRIVE, as the chances are the flywheel has already twisted and the run out is greater than 0.003" which makes all this work for naught without fixing the stock flywheel. All previous HARLEY single cam engines used to have a crank pin bolt and nut torqued to hold the flywheel halves in true. And all single cam HARLEY engines used to have stock from the factory METAL GEAR DRIVES for the oil pump and the single cam. HARLEY HAS GONE CHEAP has digressed in technology and gone to silent chain drives with PLASTIC tensioners, in critical engine components to ensure that they wear out and must be periodically replaced. Failure to replace a worn PLASTIC tensioner, will result in CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. Imagine the engine seizing at highways speed, locking up the rear wheel and the cratered oil pump spewing hot, oil all over the rear wheel..........what a thrill ride that would be............till the crash came. CAVEAT EMPTOR=LET THE BUYER BEWARE THE TWIN CAM ENGINE, PRODUCED FROM 1999 TO THE PRESENT. HARLEY has had many years to fix the problem, but, it's all about the money, in replacing the worn out PLASTIC tensioners.
Verry noisy !
