Fun fact, to make a black and white cookie, you actually fill the whole cookie with white first, and then go over half of it with black. In other words, a black and white cookie is two-thirds white and one thirds black. I don’t know what point I was trying to make with this, but I learned it a while back, and I’ve been disturbed ever since.
Well that's how you get a clean line down the middle. It'd be a lot messier to try doing only half of each. The middle would never match up right.
