Why do you have commentry over the music? I find it difficult to hear you. It does you no favours.

I used to prefer the Garrison branch out of the two routes into Birmingham, but if you didn't like the turn there is another fifty yards further on that would take you up the Aston branch.

Only watched the first 45 seconds as the music was drowning out the commentary.

You should have kept going, . . it was your bridge, and it was up to the other boat, whose fore-end wasn't in the bridge-hole before yours was, to hold back in the straight for you to keep coming ahead. All that back and ahead in the wide of the turn, . . you were lucky not to finish up with an almighty blade-full !

I knew that area before the renovations, but yes, still more needs to be done, but I'm glad to see it looking better and even more happy to see the locks are being given attention again, from 15-20 years ago that is.

I love the idea of narrow boating, but hate the idea of many, many locks.
