Dominick is not only extremely knowledgeable about mold remediation but also takes the time to explain the entire process in detail, making you feel confident and reassured. He approaches every situation with honesty and transparency, which is a rare quality in this industry. When they came to inspect my property, they quickly identified the source of the problem and provided a clear plan to address it. Their work was thorough, efficient, and meticulous. They used top-notch equipment, including dehumidifiers and air scrubbers, and made sure everything was cleaned and treated properly to prevent future issues. @@LongIslandMoldGuy thank you !!

I still think it is wild that, in the USA, you can be sued for someone's incompetence or negligence on your property.
Yeah it definitely is! I guess technically you can be sued for anything, and some complex situations can come up when you combine various workers on a job site. It's not in my nature to think to sue someone, especially if I were to be at fault, but we all know there are people out there looking to make a quick buck. That's why having the proper insurance documents is crucial!
Hear the voice and she mentioned Dix Hills . and there was a real estate term on Long Island that held true in the 90s probably only gotten worse,.. it's 50-50. 50-50 reference in the 90s was 50% of all homes on Long Island were over 50 years old!! Remodeling is a way of life in NY
Oh yeah that would be the 75-50 rule now😂 The overwhelming majority of homes I go in were built in the 60's or earlier!!
So awesome to watch this Ann Marie D! (High School Friends.) Love it!
Thank you for checking out the episode!!
It’s the place to be Love the barn. I could live in there
Should I AirBNB the barn??😂😂
Great podcast !!!! ok, she's my sister so I'm biased.. But what you see is what you get... no BS! You want her and John on your side WHEN the poop hits the fan.... I do !

Rayn does a lot for long island
He is absolutely an asset to our area!!
We need another episode with Ryan. Stand up dude 👏
Oil is expensive though, that’s EVERY customers main complaint. The heat pump push is making them all make the change. The heat pumps have to be designed properly (cold climate, manual j,d,s etc..) plus the home HAS to be sealed up and properly insulated to even stand a chance.
Good point Frank, many things have to be considered when going to electric heat. People complain about the price of oil, but that oil is keeping them warm in their leaky, poorly insulated house!
I LOVE working on oil. He’s so right though before I went out on my own the last 2 hvac companies I worked for would actually turn down oil jobs. Crazy, better for us though
Codes may have started this way, but now they are just a tax to justify the governments worthless existence
No way!!! (I secretly agree)
Best home inspector!!!
Thank you brother Kyle!
Wow Joe. You both were so good. So much good information and so well done. 💪🏻👏
Thank you Frank!!
What doesn’t come out in the wash comes out in the rinse. Mitch is very informative. Great episode!

that magnet trick is amazing im going to utilize that !!!!!!!!
@@Rustmanakachris35 you are on your way to being a Knowledgeable Homeowner friend!!!!!!!!!!!
This is especially important when you get into any plumbing or electrical projects. Don't think, "I'll get this done in an hour. Think, "If this goes wrong, do I have another sink to use for the next couple days?" Or, "will I need to plug something into the outlets on that breaker I have turned off?" Do NOT open a can of worms when you don't have at least 2 times as much time as you think you need.
@@woodworkerroyer8497 very well said!!
@sturdyhomesny thanks! Gotta love that YT just notified me of a comment to this LOL. On the flip side, I have my bath fan I KNOW is gonna take me a day if everything goes right, but I haven't had a full day for it in the last 3 weeks. There is definitely a time to piecemeal stuff.
Cool! I'd be down for how-to longer format videos!
@@woodworkerroyer8497 you are very appreciated 💪I will definitely record more of my projects and I plan on making some content for quick jobs that any homeowner can do. I regularly hear from homeowners that they ignore small defects in their home because they believe they are not skilled enough or don't see themselves as a "DIY-er". I think I can show them that if they can manage owning a home, they can manage taking care of routine maintenance tasks.
@sturdyhomesny Oh, for sure. A bit holding screwdriver with a case of bits and a set of nut drivers can open just about anything in the home. Add a drill and bits, and you have even more possibilities. Cobra pliers, needle nose pliers, and a set of wire strippers can do even more. That whole bundle would be less than $300, and save well over that amount if the person just does basic maintenance on the house.
Best home inspector out there!!!
@@kylecaminske8403 honestly it's the fans that keep me going 🔥🔥🔥
Excellent song choice
Thank you! I try to follow the ten foundation crack commandments 🙏
Subbing. As the ither commenter said, the music was too loud, and instrumental music is the best. I will add that as a video editor, I try to make the music about half the volume of what i think people can hear over (so it your music setting was -10db on this video, where you think the voiceover can be heard well, set the music to -15 or even -18 and try again. Once you think it's where it should be, turn it down at least 2 db more). This lets the viewer hear the song, but more importantly, it lets them hear you. Most people think the video and pixels and bot depth are the most important parts of videography. They're not. Sound is. People will leave before they listen to a whole sentence if you have buffetting wind or squealing in the background. A good mic, and some training with it is worth its weight in gold. You already have good video, and even decent audio on your side, but the music really distracts. It's taking the place of the voiceover. P.s. you can absolutely use music with lyrics. You just have to know the "vibe" or theme of the video you're making. Dont use "baby shark" during a tense horror scene. 😂 I like the song you chose, and i think it's a good one to keep in a back pocket for when it can be used, but it's important to know when to use it.
Haha that's a very good point about lowering the volume a little more once you think it's good. I thought I was good with this one😅 thanks for the tip!!
Gotta love youtube recommendations. Good content, i just live in England with a brick house
@@origional_name_here1429 haha okay you're a little less prone to termite problems! Maybe we'll get the algorithm to show you some brick pointing videos😂
Excited for more video like this!!
Wooo thank you!
They can fly tho
In my region we deal with subterranean termites who fly during their reproduction stage. Their wings fall off once they land, and those loose wings are actually one of the signs that we look for when searching for termite activity!
Interesting information. But the music was a little loud in the beginning.
Thank you for the feedback!
@@sturdyhomesny also try to stick to instrumental music.
@@nameisbad good call! I am new to posting videos 😂
Nah the lyrics go hard. This home inspector is 🔥🔥
@@Rustmanakachris he goes hard, the music doesn't, don't mistake good constructive criticism as something that needs defending against lol
