Andrew absolutely kills it in this scene - it was keen to see a Spider-Man remember that with great power comes great responsibility, and he's not able to undo what happened and how he failed, but he's able to make it right, in a way, for someone else.

People shit on the Andrew movies (tbf some of the hate to the second one I kind of get), but it was the closest we got to having him be a neighborhood level crimefighter, the movie makes him feel bad for not being as epic and fighting aliens ect, but I think we sometimes need those smaller scale movies. The fact that Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man got this chance to redeem himself, is part of the reason why No Way Home is one of the stand out films in phase 4. They knew EXACTLY what the fans wanted to see. This wasn't just about giving his Spider-Man closure, this was about giving us closure too. Also this song makes everything more epic.

I'm honestly over seeing "Like A Prayer" attached to every single Marvel property in edit after edit now, but this one is an exception. This one came out great.

i literally cried in the theatre during this just like I cried in the gwen scene. that scene was so fantastically done. The way his web spread out like a hand in slow motion was so cool. it's too bad amazing spiderman 2 was generally not a good movie, because the acting was quite good and the web slinging and the spiderman suit in that movie were on point. best of any of the films.
