Thanks! Hope you read the descriptions of the video about these lockers are currently not in existence, as that area of Atocha Station is under complete renovation. There are 3 other luggage storage sites near the station (one I have used a couple of times); please see the video descriptions for their Google Maps locations. Just want to make sure you don't show up to Atocha Station only to find out these lockers are no longer there. Happy travels!

So sorry to hear about this... 😢 This was filmed in early November when the stream was low, but I can definitely see it being dangerous with snow melt in the spring or after a storm. Please stay safe when visiting Angels Falls.

Hello! Thanks for your comment and question! My recollection is that you can store the luggage up to 30 days; if you really need to store your luggage for more than a couple of weeks, let me know and I will find out for you. I have stored my luggage there for 3-4 days in the past with no issue. That said, there are still reports that this place has not yet reopened since COVID-19 closure. I will find out for sure and let you know (as there are alternatives nearby).

Looks like the lockers at Atocha are still closed. There are 2 or 3 places nearby you can store your luggage. Here's one I have used in 2021: goo.gl/maps/VWqCsmxRXSyZcKav5 It's a 3 min walk from the station (from the station's atrium, use the exit next to Mahoudrid restaurant, head left, and it's about a block away). Instructions (in multiple languages) posted at the location are fairly straight forward; this location also takes credit card. Plus, their website (see Google Maps link above for website URL) shows locker dimension and allows you to reserve a locker (I didn't make a reservation; though it is a small place, so if you are visiting on a busy holiday weekend, it might be wise to reserve in advance). Thanks for inquiring into this, as I will update my video descriptions so people watching it will be notified about the closure and alternative. I will also be in Madrid in April so I will make a short stop to see if the lockers in the station have re-opened. (If you would be so kind to allow me to plug the channel a little, I also have a couple of videos for day trips to Aranjuez and Buitrago del Lozoya, if you are interested in Madrid side trips to less unknwon places.) Glad the video helped! If all the lockers at the station are full, there is another locker place nearby (on Calle del Gral. Lacy); slightly more expensive but a plan-b option. Retiro Park, Reina Sofia museum, and Prado Museum are just a few places within walking distance of Atocha. Happy travels!

Have a great time! So jealous as I wish I can be there. Not sure what pandemic restrictions are in place around Madrid now, but for a great local food scene, La Tinaja on Calle Naranja (between mercado and bull ring) is a great little spot.
