Darn. I was just talking about Big Johns to some friends out here in New Mexico. I lived in Tampa for 3 years (Bayshore and Albany) and would make a weekly visit to eat there. Reminded me of the BBQ my dad would make back in Va. Yep it's in the sauce. Need to buy a gallon and have them send it to me in New Mexico. I absolutely hate the Texas style BBQ. Just don't cut it.

I grew up in Tampa and our school bus stop was right in front of Big Johns. I can still remember the smoky smell of delicious bbq ... for some reason, even my bbq potatoes chips (in the bag) would taste better, when me and my friends would buy them from Big Johns. lol....lol.... Glad to know its still there!
