Great video, but your weep hole was already in the threads of your check valve , my check valve is on a 1/4 adapter I screwed on a check valve like yours and drilled a hole through both while tight, your weep hole should be below check valve. The extra hole cannot hurt though.

My pump has some air bubbles coming out, when it is submerge. It makes the noise as if it is turned on, but doesn't pump any water. This happened suddenly

Interesting! I thought my pipe broke, so I replaced it.. seems to be working without the hole, but i’ma swap it back out. I’ve had hella issues with that flexible piping tho, 3 pipes and 3 pin picks and water spraying everywhere each time 🤦‍♂️

Three years down the road, I'm glad I run Ubuntu on my 2010 i7. The mac OS support is tanking, but it's still a great machine for multimedia. The prices are still coming down because of this.

I've been replacing the oven igniters on my BlueStar oven for 12 years now. For whatever reason, they don't last too long. I recently discovered that I no longer had to buy the over priced stuff BlueStar sells. A talk with an appliance repair guy I know sent me to Amazon to find appropriate replacements for less than 1/4 of what the OEM stuff costs. It's nice to be able to do some of this stuff on my own and not have to shell out the dough for a technician visit. If you decide to do this on your own, read up and make 100% sure you're getting the right part. That's mission critical.

My outdoor submersible pumps always get air locked. I have to unscrew the hose as it’s on until water starts to come up then rescrew it on quickly. What a pain. Can I put a small weep hole in the hose itself close to the pump to solve this problem?

A great example of using patience and reasoning to solve a problem. I just went through the same problem on my truck. I found that rapping the drain plug with a brass drift can shock the threads much like heat to free them up. I never torque drain plugs to torque value, I just go by what I think is good and recheck the next day for drips to see if I need to go a bit more. That's all you really need.

Drill the weep hole below the low water line so you don't hear it spewing. Doesn't matter. ALSO, this style pump triggers on too soon. Either raise it under some blocks or install a secondary vertical float switch.

Lucky for me, my gas dryer doesn't destroy a heating element wire and it just keeps on running, and running, and running, and running, and running. However, many years ago the dryer belt did break and was an easy replacement but take care with the tensioner adjustment (the same type of issue for gas or electric dryer drum).

thanks mate. just ordered a new bat and a can of air. there isn't a good work around for the thurmo trigger. the easiest way is just get the jumper. I mounted mine to the SSD adaptor so I don't have to mess with the sticky when I have to change the SSD again. don't forget to upgrade ram while your doing stuff. its cheap on amazon. I got mine running on the full 32gb apple says it supports 16gb but I through the whole 32 in and it says it have 32, is it using all of it? im not sure. but it was like 25$ for 16gb so yea,.

Good video. Yesterday I woke up went down in my basement and my pump was running but no water was pumping out. Couple years back installed a Zoeller on 2 -8-19 because the last bump failed. Been working flawlessly ever since. Check valve has been very noisy, I got the pump running it was working okay I went and got a new check valve and installed it. Pump worked all day yesterday no problems got up this morning and it was running in the water was pumping I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started working normal again. Any suggestions? Thank you

Gas isn’t going to oven..gas safety switch is on the on position on the back..the igniter turns red..no gas smell at all with oven on. What do you think ?

So I’ve installed one before after watching a video. Same one you have. After 9 years it quit. I bought a new one & it won’t even turn on when submerged. The outlet works with other things so cannot figure out why the new sump pump won’t even kick on???

Man I love you tube! My next door neighbor had a foot of water in his basement. He's in New Jersey. Used an old but still working sump pump and it worked for a while, but all of a sudden stopped discharging. Took your advice and drilled a small hole and now happy to report the water is all out. Thank you!

Gas safety valve had correct resistance of 1-5 ohms. And igniter had resistance of 95 ohms. But igniter seemed dim/ weak. Replacing it fixed the issue..
