Are you getting this on film… Is this what it looks like… He’s recording on a cell phone so no. No film. And is this what it looks like…I assume yes. What you are looking at is exactly how it looks, like.
As Homer Simpson once said "run for the hills Ma Barker before I call the feds."
Isn't it great whoosh couldn't you ride on the wood and weeee gooo
even thou its bad there is something funny in the video when the lady in the background says are you getting this on film
Why is the camera not steady?
Lot of power there!
Cuanta leña...baja por el río.lo limpia todo el agua
Mother nature cleaning the gutters

Hello Kent Wilson, is it possible to contact you regarding this video (i.e. via email)? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible to discuss? :) Cheers, Felix
Live in Cedar City. Last year we had one of these come out of the canyon and flood half the town.
Quit shaking so much
"Oh my God"... "Where did all this water come from?" "Did Kolob Reservoir overflow?" 😂😂😂
Had a big rainstorm on top of Kolob and this was the result.
Damn Kent, are you sure your name isn't Michael J Foxx?
death wishers
I should eat more fiber.
WOW YOU REALLY CAPTURED IT!! I'VE NEVER SEEN IT UP CLOSE LIKE THIS. THANK YOU!! GREAT VIDEO!!
That happens when it rains, Dah
That's a big scary tree snake
Idiots on bridge watching. The foundations could get undermined by scour, or debris such as a log could hit the far parapet and be thrown into them.
This shows just how dangerous flash floods are, and why. If you were in the wash bed they'd find pieces of you, or you'd get a free burial. And that's before you even had a chance to drown. Even the water alone isn't safe as you talk about it moving boulders and we've seen what's in it. Be safe! These are even more spine tingling when you're backpacking in canyon country!
Allahova moc ! Allahu Ekber ☝
Question: how did you know there was going to be a flash flood in this area??
Several people up the canyon were calling to warn about it coming.
Heavy rain, water flows down just like rivers.
Teman a Dios y denle gloria, porque la hora de su juicio ha llegado. Adoren a aquel que hizo el cielo y la tierra y el mar y las fuentes de las aguas. Apocalipsis 14:7
That's probably the most wet wood virgin Utah has ever had!
That was a pretty cool view with the frost on the trees 😃😎
YOU CRAVE CHOCOLATE BECAUSE IT IS A COMFORT FOOD , YOU NEED COMFORTING.. .
That water could take that bridge out !!
Troppo mosso.
Water in its natural environment, I never thought.
Como dijeran los peruanos un !! Huaico !!
Overflow from kolob....... Woman please
Free fire wood
Was the end of your video you guys hike Angels Landing? Or was that exposed section the west rim trail?
You are correct, Angels Landing. When we came down to Scout Overlook we went out and back on Angels Landing before following West Rim down to the Canyon Floor.
around 5:15 are some of my favorite parts of the trail the views to the right are amazing....wish i could pinpoint of how it works when looking to the right as far as the trail going down
i did the west rim from lava point when i worked there this summer, awesome hike...we were going to do it from lava back down to the lodge but we started at like 1pm lol....we ended up staying at the campsite right before u desend into the final push into the canyon and close to a water source
I bet people complain all the time that the bridge is overbuilt and a waste of money. Because most of the time it's probably dry or just a trickle.
for some reason i crave chocolate milk everytime i see one of these vids
Thankyou so much for sharing this video. You Tube is great for sharing videos like this. I am 70 years old and never had a chance to see a real debris flow.
wowza!....I wouldn't wana be livin by threre1
Nature's Purge. Amazing Footage.
Obviously the idiots have no concept of undermining.
stupid people on the bridge.
The idiots on the bridge have not the slightest understanding of what powers water has on undermining. I wish them all well and hope that all are safe and well but please be aware of the potential dangers. Admire from a distance what mother nature throws at us :) Keep safe everybody !!!!
I wish you would answer people's comments! I was in Zion Narrows the day this happened and we were caught in lots of rain, had to wait on a cliff in case of a flash flood. I'd like to know where this is on a map compared to Zion Narrows. I believe it's just west of Zion narrows.
